background sounds in Delta Quadrant

Is anyone else getting background sounds in the Delta Quadrant sector space? It sounds like the kind of stuff you hear when you are on a spacestation with some guy talking over an intercom. Is this WIA or is this some kind of weird bug?

    It's not just in DQ space, it's everywhere. I just did the Rapier mission on a Recruit and had that station background chatter the entire time throughout the space portions of the mission. The same goes for every space portion of every mission, really. Most of the time, I can tune it out, but sometimes it's just plain annoying & I can't ignore it.

    That's always been in the game. Believe it's meant to be the communication chatter of ships in your area, since in reality that is the only thing you would ever hear in the silence of deep space. Your crew simply leaves the comm channels open to not feel completely alone out there in the darkness. As for the volume of it: You can adjust it down (I for one turned the background sounds down to 15%).
