Indeed - I realise it's a completely different ball game, but seriously - I hate to think how some STO players would react to EvE's 'perma-lose everything you paid for upon defeat' gameplay.
and by paid for it's usually $$$ to get ISK, because top end gear in EVE cost a fortune.

Yeah, let me put it this way.

STO, for all its defects and shortcomings, is almost everything I had hoped EVE would be and wasn't. I have nothing but complete contempt for the degree to which that game enables players--encourages them, really--to come up with creative ways of griefing and trolling each other. It is a microcosm of the very worst of humanity, distilled to the kind of purity you only see when anonymity suppresses a person's moral compass.

so I get banned because pwe cryptics only response is we are not going to fix your account after we break it during an update. then to make matters worse thay go as far as accuse me of doing something that thay are not responsible for. here in amarica thare are two corts I may not sue but no user agreement has power in criminal cort. so trendy im not crazy you are for thinking the end user agreement can protect you so you can be involved in internet scam witch here in amarica internet means across state lines automaticly making it a capital crime.

for those that have been robbed after investing in this game the place to go is ic3.com to make crime report then bbb.com to report bad practice that violates customer sales responsibility that in amarica is a crime.
Sorry, but I'm not buying into your "victim" act. You're not a victim if you continue to make posts like this claiming that Cryptic is doing something illegal (which they're not, by the way). You agreed to the EULA, and just by doing that, you agreed to hold Cryptic and PWE free of any wrong-doing.
