due to rubberband/misfire glitch issue, spheres have been ignoring CCs for a while now.
it's fun to launch a Projected Singularity at a bunch of spheres and watch them all ignore it, while at the same time none of your weapons or abilities are activating; and your ship is dancing like it's having an epileptic fit.

Given they have only just admitted to there being an issue i will predict that it will get fixed by the time i am 85 so at some point within the next 47 years
Still though at least there is DOFF missions, at least they work currently regardless of the recent xp nerf on them, there is no point shooting at anything presently until it is fixed.

Except for the fact that 100% CrtH was really never necessary and most people that were making the best use of it have gained 40% CrtH. It's actually quite the buff.
Could this explain my loss of 1.9% Critical Chance from yesterday to today without changing a damn thing?
My Starship Particle Generator is at 59 which would be 3 points but I don't see it losing that much. Where did 1.9% of my Crit Chance go if I didn't change a thing?!

I did notice in ISA right after the patch the TBR (and not the GW) was not working much or at all. Maybe it is just the lag. Will have to run it again a few times.
Weird I just ran blood of the ancients today and in the first space map my crit chance was 17.3% and in the second map it was 15.4%
Why is it doing that. I have no skills that increase crit chance

Placed a hard-cap of +50% on the +CritChance gained by Particle Manipulator.
Reduced the Critical Chance benefit per point of Particle Generators from .25 to .20.
Might have something to do with it.

You missed this line from literally right underneath what you quoted. Sure it's not the bullet point, but I suppose feeling welcome in the echo chamber must feel nice too.
Each point of Particle Generators will grant .1% Crit Severity for Exotic Damage abilities, and there is no cap on this benefit.
Think I found the bug...when I'm in a regular space map my crit chance shows as 15.4% on the info screen. When I hit Aux to Structural Integrity III it goes to 17.3% and stays there O_o

Maybe it's just a visual bug for me. I'll see if it's still there tomorrow when I log back in. Logged out already, maybe a fresh restart will correct it then.
Just odd that would be the skill to do it. Whenever I warped into a space map boom 15.4% crit chance popped Aux2SIF III and ta-da it went and stayed at 17.3%

It's not unheard of in STO. There was a while where Tac buffs like APA would send your resistance through the roof, so things like Polarize Hull were godmode.

Particle Generators only affect Gravity Well Damage, not its pull.

PartGens increase the damage of Gravity Well.
GravGens increase the radius of GW, but not the "intensity" of the pull.
