I Agree with you why Tease us with all these alies and not have them in game Worf even said the dominon was in danger when he seen gates into there world as well. Odo is the ambassador to the soilds so why give is A FLASE Flag.

They may still do so. We're only 2-3 episodes in this season.

Personally, I'm more curious about the Andromeda Galaxy races that already exist in Star Trek, like the Kelvans (TOS: "By Any Other Name", after all, the ones that the Enterprise encountered were only the crew of one damaged ship) or the Makers of the androids that inhabited planet Mudd (TOS: "I, Mudd", though the race is extinct... they died when their sun went nova, which we now know is something the Iconians like to use as a weapon) and what parts they might play in the Iconian War - which seems to be shaping up to look like Milky Way versus Andromeda...
"If you can't take a little bloody nose, maybe you ought to go back home and crawl under your bed. It's not safe out here. It's wondrous, with treasures to satiate desires both subtle and gross; but it's not for the timid." -- Q, TNG: "Q-Who?"
^Words that every player should keep in mind, especially whenever there's a problem with the game...

    This one is pretty interesting.

Will she go down Taris' route (use of Iconian tech)? OR B'vat's (attempt to use time)?

Or will she prove resistant enough to the forbidden and truly see it used for something beneficial?

Hidden shelters seems like one valid idea, or channeling their flares into some other zone.

BTW Trendy, it seems the story is missing something after "How about emergency shelters for civilians hidden". It just jumps to the next line.

I think that we are seeing the first development of the "futureward" end of the Delta Recruit time-travel gambit. They will get the idea to send certain key officers to brief their younger selves to gather the necessary data and materials.

I believe the use of time as the Iconians can not travel through time it is a weakness
Everytime I see complaints about the same thing

Only way to beat an Iconian is to be an Iconian.

    *dresses up as an Iconian*

    *gets shot*
