It is possible to kill all the ships. The Starbase however cannot be attacked by ship weapons. It is shown as hostile, it can be targeted and it attacks the player, but the player's weapons stay greyed-out in the UI and as such don't fire. The Starbase can however be damaged using "Eject Warp Plasma" and the Set Ability "Heavy Bio-Molecular Turret Barrage".
This happened both on a normal solo run with a KDF character, and an elite two-team run with Federation characters (both players had this issue in the teamed run). So it should be replicable.

I noticed this the other day when running patrol with fleet mate.
I have a feeling it's due to a issue with the new mission and the starbase in question.
However the patrol can be finished just waiting for timer to run out.

Annoying but not breaking.
Would be nice for it to be looked into though.
I find if I get to point-blank and sit just inside the docking ring facing the top node, I can sometimes get a shot in, but any other angle, nothing.

Frost for me, it would Spawn the First mob.
Then only spawn 2/3 Ships for the Second Mob. Which would then not allow finishing.
Anything new on this?
I've got some testing I'd just love to do against a highly defensive, stationary target, and I'm just not finding anything else.
