The Romulan Wide Beam Pistol and Split Beam rifle obtained as mission rewards from "Frozen" cannot be upgraded using the upgrade system, unlike practically every other item you can obtain in the game.
Steps to reproduce:
1 - Log into any character that can do, or has done, the mission "Frozen"
2- Obtain, if not already obtained, either of the weapons available as a reward, and attempt to upgrade them. The option "Upgrade Item" is not there for either of them.
