You loose the t-6 ship mastery trait, but you gain HP, and shield strength per standard fleet versions and they're all 11 console ships.. light on SCI consoles. I don't know if there are any changes in BOFF seating.. If anyone see's any sing out.
If your fleet qual's, just 2 fleet ship modules. not to shabby!
It was going to happen sooner or later but I expected it to happen within a month or two of DR releasing for those initial T6 ships to get their Fleet versions. Not 5 months later.
With the news release of their stats, it came out almost exactly like I thought they would. Before DR hit and when news came that there were going to be T5U ships and people started seeing what was improved, what got the extra console slots made sense. In general T5U got the +1 consoles in these general rules:
1. Primary Specialization (i.e. Cruiser with ENG, Escorts with TAC) would get 5 consoles if they did not have that already. This happened to a bunch of TAC Cruisers and a bunch of KDF Escorts.
2. If Primary Specialization had 5 consoles already, then the next most heavy specialty got the +1 upgrade.
There were a handful of oddballs of course, like the Scimitar is basically an Escort with the hull, handling, weapon slots of a Cruiser (and having Battle Cloak). But the format was followed for the majority of ships. That rule even held up for the initial DR ships finally getting Fleet versions.
The only one I was wrong on was the Aehlal Warbird. They gave it a 3/5/3 layout like a D'Deridex despite the Aehlal not having a LtCdr SCI station and was a straight up, TAC Cruiser BOFF layout, but doesn't get the 4th TAC Console.
To be honest I don't like fleet versions of ships. Mainly because they are only availiable to 1 toon and can only be reclaimed if you spend the money on em again.

Yeah but you don't have to spend money money on them. You can buy FSMs off the exchange.

They're 5 FSMs and the rest if you do not have the Zen variant. If you do have the Zen variant, then it is 1 FSM and the rest.
The Qib only requires a T2 Shipyard, but it's still either 5 FSMs or the Zen variant and 1 FSM.
While you cannot unlock the trait from the Fleet variant, it would still be available for the Fleet variant if unlocked from the non-Fleet variant. Keep in mind what it is, though...hrmmm, yeah.
It's the same BOFF layout and picks up a Tac console.

With each passing day I wonder if I stepped into an alternate reality. The Cubs win the world series. Donald Trump is President. Britain leaves the EU. STO gets a dedicated PvP season. Engineers are "out of control" in STO.
For these new Fleet ships they all win by finally getting their much needed Fleet improvements. But a few stand out as making the greatest gains due to getting that +1 TAC Console while already having the means on making use of that improvement:
Fed Eclipse & KDF Qib: 4 TAC Console ships like I predicted they would become. Top of the line flexibility, power. The Eclipse can make use of the Phantom's Reciprocity trait in an ungodly way while the Qib has a very nice, overall package in the ship itself.
Fed Dauntless: 4 TAC Console ship on top of already being a 5 SCI ship. It should be more enticing now but I still hold against it for giving up too much ENG & SCI for the TAC it has. The only ship in endgame STO that I can confidently call a "Glass Science Vessel." That's an amazing feat considering how Aux-based ships tend to be very tough.
I still can't get over the Aehlal getting a SCI Console while having not LtCdr SCI station. That scales the ship down greatly in worthiness, IMO.
I'll be all over the Fleet Mat'ha, just another spot for a universal console.
Fleet T6 Faeht & T5U both have same console layout, would have perfered they had give the Faeht a 4th science console, but again with universal consoles in play a minor issue.
Scryer gaining a Tactical Slot, yeah happy about that.
But still Mat'ha is pretty my my favorite ship in the game, especially when you put the 180 degree flip console from the Hirogen Heavy Hunter on it.
I run her with AP on one toon, and Disruptors, including the Silent Enemy Elachi set, on my main which is an Engineer. Space chainsaw on steroids that ship.
Thanks for the Advanced Light Cruiser, Allied Escort Bundles, Jem-Hadar Light Battlecruiser, and Mek'leth

There wouldn't be a T6 BoP, considering that this thread is about the Fleet Intel ships for the KDF and rommies. Unless of course I missed something and a T6 BoP should have been released at the same time.

So true every time they released one in the past the fed players cried and cried and cried about it all over the forums for a month.
Huh? Last time a cstore BoP was released, months of tears???? Three years of playing, I don't recall ever a KDF ship being released that didn't launch with a counterpart (Mogh/Avenger, Bortasqu/Odyssey, etc), and the only Cstore BoP at all was the B'rel way way back even before F2P. If you're going to fantasize as if 80% of the player base is just out to get you and cowers before your awesomeness, at least be accurate with your history.
Actually he's right, when the C-store B'rel released there was a lot of complaining fed side, not because of the ships mechanics though, well a little was over the EBC. No most of the feds that complained were connie die hards, the B-rel is the teir 1 kdf ship, to give the kdf a t5 version means that cryptic had to give the feds a t5 connie.
Course that complaint was always there, the B'rel release just made it louder for a time.

I stand corrected then. Still, sounds more like the usual "T5 Connie Nows!" silliness than any sort of anti-KDF thing, nothing worth chest thumping of playing the victim card over.

No, it was more about the EBC.
They thought the B'rel was going to decloak just long enough for an Alpha to land before automatically recloaking.
I believe EBC was nerfed at that point or soon after.
IDK I was just glad to have something distinctly KDF that po'd every Fed alive.

Heh, I always thought a T5 B'rel was the K'vort by stealth. I mean, a thing that looks like a standard B'rel but has heavy escort level weapons and hull... that's a K'vort.
Seriously temped to get that Raptor even more now. Just going to wait for another ship sale, which might be some time off to pick up the c-store version first. I picked up the Negh'Tev during the last sale for my engineer.
Might unpack the Hirogen Hunter for my tac which has been sitting in my bank since the Hirogen Boxes were running.

The Hunter is a great and tough little ship. My Gorn Tac uses it and I highly recommend it. I often find it funny how many Feds with the "target the smallest ship because it must be the flimsiest" mindset go after my ship only to find that they are (literally) dead wrong.

The Q&A is why I'm not really sold... at 5 FSM's for a single-character unlock and no Starship Trait, that's just silly pricing. :P
I do applaud your optimism, though.

No kidding.
Not even a vanilla T6 Fleet BoP.
