10 to many 1 shot stacker, spike damage aid's was not enough for pvp i guess, how bout at least 2 more?
oh and also the 'new tac, eng, and sci boff skills literally droping from lockboxes' line has been crossed now too.

Yeah I haven't played since November and only logged on 1x to briefly look around. Been doing DOTA2 of all things for PvP, relax swtor pve. I've seen some pvp on that, so maybe I'll check it out. Queued for the space PvP, but it never popped. Anyways always enjoyed the old fights hope you're enjoying those other games.

After all that drama that came about with LOR and the nerfing of BO double tapping to have the dead-space time between those identical tactical abilities, Cryptic brings it back. Unbelievable.
What's even worse is we were doing those BO double taps back then when BO didn't have guaranteed crits and drained weapons power like it was cool. You needed Marion or relying on clever Weapons Battery use (on a long CD) to make this more feasible.
But today? BO doesn't drain power and it's guaranteed to crit. Not to mention that even in PVE-land, CritD weapons are the thing, so it's not like there's a shortage of CritD weapons out there to begin with. With that new trait, you don't need marion, you don't need high crit rates. Severity, severity, severity. Accuracy is already very easy to come by. This is going to be worse than the original version of BO double taps.
If so, was it a communications mix up, difference in opinion, or change in development philosophy?
I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and not just attribute it to them insulting our intelligence and memories and going for the cash grab.
this is the real reason why pvp is dead, its not any 1 or dozen op things, its that the pvp illiterate are in charge of managing pvp. and thats their bosses fault really, a non pvper should never be put in charge of any game's global balance, STO is perfect example of why this is so.
the upgrade system, the sliding effectiveness of mk14, tier 6, monetizing every single item and passive slot, pulling 3 or 4 new categories out of your TRIBBLE every year, no pvper in his right mind would have ever introduced so many ruinous and P2W elements into what used to be a fairly air tight and satisfying experience.
Lol I tried the Crystalline torpedo with a set of antiproton weapons and consoles on a Scimitar. Unbuffed it killed the shield facing and some hull of a tank. You can't resist it through shields lol.
It makes no sense at all to add more ways to insta kill players in PvP that's whats wrong and what has been wrong with PvP all along
The logic behind double tap BOs plus the over Mod from crafting might be fun in PvE to play around with but in PvP ?
It needs a verses player additition to it -50%

The recent f2p history shows across the board that selling power is a bad idea, which leads to power creep, unbalance and p2w.
We are at a point where it is ridicules, sure one can get everything through game time but the time gate is just not reasonable any more. All the Traits, Lobi Consoles, Doffs and the quality upgrades coupled with the lack of Devs support, Bugs and the balance issues.
Still all of us come back to this game, it is like this on off relationship with a girl which is trouble but you just can't break up finally..
It's like watching somebody fall down a long flight of steps. Sure, they may have broken a bunch of bones before getting to the point they are...but as they keep on falling down the steps and you hear/see that next snap.
I'm a wee bit surprised not to have seen more about the 5 pets for +250 Perception thing...50 Perception = 1km. If I had a drop of caffeine in me I'd run the lol-numbers on it for somebody sporting either the Jem/Rom Deflector with EPtA with 5 pets out...vs...some of the common Stealth Values folks tend to sport.
And what are the odds of a Plasmatic dropping some microEWP on a person...

This game is a sad joke at this point. At least every month or so I get at least one good belly laugh out of them. It makes it worth popping by here now and then to see what the newest punch line is.
Double BO trait + Double HY trait + Energy damage torp + HY torp knockback trait for giggles?
The Iconian space set (not the weapon set) seems to be giving HY1 as a proc also. I couldn't find it in the description but testing it last night on tribble I got a HY1 almost every 30 seconds by just firing energy weapons. Oh and if you're KDF you can use the t6 raptor trait to keep your opponent from cloaking every time you use BO or THY.
The dubble tap didn't got cryptic $$, this will !!

Double BO Trait + Double HYT Trait off Sheshar + Antiproton Torp + Antiproton DBB + Concentrate Firepower 3
Concentrate Firepower 3 is a nasty little surprise. Because when it works, it takes that long torpedo reload and you're ready to fire in a second, if even that, with a free HYT1 or another torp ability to throw into the mix. Concentrate Firepower had been improved a lot since Command Spec first released. Ver I & II of this ability suck TRIBBLE but III is a different story.
