    Compare the following:

Everything Old is New, or whatever mission you're first hiking around 23rd Century Drozana:
Reason for being there - while it sucks that Federation interests will be saved as well, there are way too many KDF interests in the sector to let the whole place evaporate - and it's mighty close to Qo'nos...
Execution while there - "in game accolade" granted for taking the "Klingon" method of security patrol handling vs the "Feddie peacenik" option of diplomacy / evasion.

    Of Bajor:
Reason for being there - was what, again, when the KDF would have been "just at home" with a fleet staging area in Vlugta or some other spot of the local area?
Execution while there - no comment. 100% Feddie, with barely any dressing as to why you're there other than you're there, make the best of it.

Yeah, those missions are pretty much the nadir of Fed copypasta. OTOH, at least "Of Bajor" offers a neat sideline that the Klingons have an objective to conduct espionage - which sort of justifies being there and using Fed tactics to avoid attracting suspicion.

By contrast, though, the Nimbus / Orion arc works very well, and the Breen FEs play brilliantly to the idea that the Klingons can be honourable allies even to a weaker power.

Nimbus is actually Romulan copy/pasta. Yes really. It's the only one I know of that's a shared arc written for Romulans, but it was apparently written from a Romulan PoV.

But it does work well for Federation players, not so much for us Klingon warriors. Especially if you are rolling a Orion, Nacussian or Gorn.

Actually KDF players get extra dialogue options in the Gorn canyon of Nimbus, similar to how Federation players get to dig into Laws past a little more. Also its clearly stated that the Hassan does not recognise the woman that allied the orion syndicate with the Klingon Empire as his leader, similar to the House of Torg not following Jempok.

On the Canyon, its been a while but I'm pretty sure Gorn characters get even more options for dialogue than even other kdf players.

While installation 18 is clearly romulan story focused, the rest of Nimbus is much more neutrally written with a fair amount of faction Easter eggs in it for KDF and Starfleet as well.

For the record I dispise Nimbus for its overly long ground slog, but I do appreciate that the Devs were trying something different and that they actually put a little effort into making it work for all factions to some degree rather than one side only. All told Nimbus is a good example to follow for future content, rather than the DR episodes that are clearly written for starfleet players with only the occasional added dialogue option for kdf or romulan players.

Yeah I just played the Nimbus arc with my klingon and it felt subtly different to playing through it as my Starfleet character. It felt like as a klingon you're taking on Orion renegades, which makes perfect sense. And I did appreciate how my character confronted the gorn separatists with the idea that 'conquered people should know when they're conquered.' She's... not much of a diplomat :)

I like Nimbus better on my KDF than my Feds. Mostly, because of all the melee drops and options for melee/ground combat. Precious few bits of game combat, take advantage of all the melee combat skills that Klingons and their allies get.

Makes it worth running and replaying those to me. My all Lethean ground crew on my KDF especially love it.. (expose..expose..disintegrate..disintegrate..)

As far as storyline goes -- bashing things in the face up close and personal works for me.
