    Some trailer...

    Aren't trailers supposed to be interesting? Grab your attention? This does neither, the DR trailer did, but this, doesn't.

    I hope this doesn't include the sector space revamp because it's not ready yet on Tribble.
    Heck, even the reputation weapons aren't ready yet, they don't even have their visuals.

    Hmm, wasn't expecting till May and the end of the Delta Recruit thing. Hope ya listened to the people on Tribble and got the bugs out this time at least.

    So, (given it's a week away and the state they've been in on Tribble since Season 10 started testing there); Borg Red Alerts as we currently know them on Holodeck are being removed and replaced by a simple "Kill 10 Groups of Borg Ships" standard Space Encounter.

    Cryptic strikes again, removing fun content that players have enjoyed since Season 4 and replacing it with more cut and paste content.

    What happens on May 21st when both events are then over?

    When noticing that the recruiting event was popular, why not adjust the timetable and push back season 10 a month so we can enjoy both and have fun things to do for two months instead of one?

    What is the point of releasing it so soon. Take a rest let Delta recruits finish then launch seriously rushing out what little content you have is going to harm the game rather than benefit it.

    Because, if they hold to last year, the Summer Event, will start on the first Thursday of June (June 4th). The current schedule gives a two-week breather between the events rather than having the Summer Event suck all the metrics out of the Season 10 content and make it possibly look bad.

    yep, this - they need to have metrics to show their upper Management that the cost of redoing Sector Space, hiring more Star Trek actor voice talent, etc. was WORTH the monetary outlay. So, it's by design that they launch Season 10 during what appears to be (by the fact Servers had login Queues last weekend) a successful event. then they can massage what they're hoping will be positive usage and Zen sales metrics for STO during this time into a big presentation of:

    "STO Season 10 was the BEST update yet, and the players LOVE it!" :D;)

    That way they can avoid an update like: "STO Season 11: Maintenance Mode" which another Cryptic MMO, Champions Online has already entered.:eek:

    grr, I liked the late June to August of the first year - forgot they moved it up so far. Ok, you have answered my question sir :)

    My country 4 a horse! My Horse for a tier 7(!) class starship!:eek:

    I have to upgrade all mah weapons and consoles and space sets and ground set to mark 20(!):eek:

    Even with all of that achieved my toon would not be secured from the Aiconians! I want my Mummmmyy!XDD



    Edit: Yes, i am quite aware that either tier 7 ships nor tier/mark 20 equiptment can NOT be gained yet by upgrading stuff, just wanted to humorize! Anyone WHO, DR. isnt a humor Harald..ehmm..Harold as me, pls just ignore the tier 7 ship stuff... thy in advance!:cool::D

    I'm kind of hoping the Summer event won't happen at all this year. With the Iconians invading, chilling on Risa is the last thing people should be doing.

    I can't wait for April 21st so I can enjoy the SNRs, Disconnects, and Lag.

    Then get told that Cryptic isn't going to do anything about it because it's just not worth the expense of signifigantly upgrading the infrastructure.

    Will likely continue through season 10. There's no reason it needed to end.
