If you go to Search, put in your name for the keyword, change the sort to Ascending Order, and set it to show results as Posts...what's the first thing somebody quoted you saying on the forums here?

Since the post that came up was split into multiple parts at the time, I'll just do this instead:

    http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showpost.php?p=4696651&postcount=4

But if we're going off before the forum switch, then the first thing that pops up is this:

    http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showpost.php?p=4031013&postcount=8
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.

I totally agree on this. :)

STO is a mess, canon wise. All Treks are mixed in one place, I personally don't like that. That's why I almost exclusively play solo. That's why I'm totally in favour of being able to influence my own appearance as much as I want. And I don't want to be an "Admiral" because, like we already said, "Admirals" in STO are nothing like Admirals are supposed to be. We always act as Captains so I personally would like to be capped at Captain's rank. Or choose my title appropriately.
no we really dont always act like captains... perhaps you have never been to a stf or used all your special powers...

yet again another offensive person to such a great game...

well just another person to watch out for in the advent they grow up and past this childhood make believe stage and join us in the game for some content only to learn that he appeared on a ignore list and gets booted from the STF cause he rather be his own captain rather than a team player at supporting the game rather that this rubbish.

Me complaining, someone complaining about complaining, thread got locked due to fighting. Good times :D

Yes, this is particularly handy if your build involves Tricobalts or Hargh'pengs. The former can get a DRASTIC boost if run alongside photons and a group of projectile doffs, the latter gets a neat kick out of ANY torpedo with projectile doffs. :D

Edit: For example, in the atypical scenario that all 3 trigger, you'll get at least 25% of your cooldown shaved off on a tricobalt. 2 triggering may also have that effect, and 1 trigger will cut out a neat amount too. *doesn't know the exact numbers, hence the massive lack of precision*

Also, how should I proceed for a PURE torpedo Vo'Quv using quad BoPs?

Possible off topic, but important to me so I ask this....I thought the BOFF abilities didn't do anything to the System Cooldown caused by the use of a Hargh'peng Torpedo. It would be amazing if it does work, but I had the projectile BoFF's in active duty and it had no effect. I would love to be wrong! As it stands if you fire one of them off you have to wait 15 seconds before using another one from a different tube. I have one fore and one aft because of this reason since I am broadsiding anyways and a small turn lets me fire either one that is ready.
IMHO H'P torpedoes trump all others for cruiser tanks(in PvE) . Moves the fastest of all of them, initial hit is an AE about as strong as a normal photon, then a DoT like a Plasma Torp (directly to hull), and then another AE at the end of the DoT duration. Also the Plasma DoT is stackable so you can have more than one person using it and the effects stack.

A looong time ago back when I still gave a damn about how to play the game. :P

The red bit was in my post but was not quoted.

That's disappointing to hear Thissler, but it's an excellent example of what I'm referring to on this topic! Not only beams, but even quantum torpedo launchers that are white "common", are not really so common, hard to come by in loot drops, and therefore a bit pricey on the exchange for lower level toons! Let's keep it up!

Thissler, disappointing to hear since 2011!

EDIT: That was sort of fun trip. I found the first time someone came at me with the "You're wrong!" stick. And then just gurgle up my own post back out of his gullet and say..."Now THAT's how it's done!"

    And...that hasn't changed.

this issue has been around for donkeys years, its one of a few issues with the game that has not been resolved.

Hmm, no. There's plenty of other issues, both GFX and systems we could get into. Better to say its one of the issues they've tried to solve.

4/5/2013 "Soon Borg invisi-torps will be gone:", i dont even remember what my old user name was before the merge in 12'.
    T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW.
Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

I should report you to the Admiralty.

In any case, mine does as do a lot of others. I'm sick and tired of seeing crewmen in the wrong uniform.
Even on bridge-only ships it's annoying, because they turn up in the doff menus.

The only thing I want is for the ensign tactical boff slot to become universal (or even just science) on my Fleet HEC.
Same for my FAE, except for id make mine ENG so i can run 2x EPtS 1s

October 13 2014, I mostly was a lurker before that. I still sort of am. I hated that tactical ensign on my old HEC.

Uh, unless the wiki is mistaken, only the Odyssey class comes with the tenth console. Both the MVAM and Heavy Escort Carrier only have 9.
This is correct. The baseline Odyssey only has 9 consoles as well. The 3 C-Store variants have 10. Considering they are the Feds flagship, any other ship will likely have 9. I would venture to say Vesta will likely go 3/3/3 or 4/3/2 (Eng/Sci/Tac).
I was expecting something more impressive to contribute.

Wanna do something insanely cool? Do an Anti-Time mission.

I will be doing something like that...eventually. I have a backlog of about 6 solid episode ideas, but it takes me a long time to make each one. My idea might not be exactly what you mean though.

I always say that if I could choose one super power, I'd choose the ability to split myself into multiple people. I could get so much more done that way! :D
hehe, interesting thread to look back on.

Welcome indeed, what an entry  Really strong writing, the characters all sprang to life in my mind's eye, especially Doctor Merida. Can't wait to see where future LCs will take the crew

Kind of lame, but hey, that's me. I really ought to revisit that crew more - so far, my main has featured in three tales (two of them pretty short) and cameoed in another.
