PayPal requires debit card?

I've been buying Zen for years with my regular PayPal account with no problem. I just bought some on 3/29/2015 in fact. Now when I go to purchase it wants me to add a debit card to PayPal.

If this is something on the Perfect World side then I won't be putting anymore money into your games because I do not have a debit card. If there is a way around this (besides buying cards) please let me know.

    I ran into this a couple of times. There should be a skip or add later option. Its not through PWE, I know that much.

    Paypal has been asking for Debit Cards on and off for years. The Debit has a smaller transaction fee then a Credit card. When you add up all those percentages over millions of people using their system that is a lot of money that can be put into Paypal's pocket if people use Debit over Credit.

    It has nothing to do with PWE.
    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.
