I really like the the Delta Recruitment event, and think it was good that it forces you to do the tutorial in order to get the rewards, but I do feel they missed a trick.
They could have added in a load of quick 3-5min holodeck missions that teach players what the various abilities do. (excluding intel/command obviously).
In the tutorial, it would only need to teach the ensign abilities as that's all that a Miranda has, so wouldn't take all that long to do.
Then each time you get your promotion from Quinn, there could be an optional to beam down to SFA for the next tier of training.
That way players would have a much better idea of what everything does, instead of getting all the way up to end game using whatever skills their boffs came with and not knowing what each thing does.
