I was wondering why there isn't something like a monthly payment plan for c-store packs ?
I mean getting right down to it dropping $150 or more on a game at once is kind of insane at least to me, however I could see paying $15-25 a month for 10-6 months to have access and to eventually own said pack.
Really there's not a lot to be lost in such a system either basically you subscribe and you get access to the pack's content's for as long as you make payments or until you have fully payed for the pack, if you miss a payment or fail to pay on time the packs items are all locked and useless/unusable/removed until you pay the amount due or owing.
This would let the total cost be spread out over time which would most likely mean more people would be willing and able to actually spend the money.
People deciding to not finish paying or fully purchase the pack would still have paid to use the pack for the duration that they did resulting in a net gain for the game even if they decide to never fully purchase it.
*consumable items like keys and such could be a problem however could be setup so that they were only unlocked when the pack is fully paid for*

not really more like rent to own, you get access as long as you keep paying the rental fee or until you have paid the full cost otherwise you loose access to the items
although I'm not 100% on what lay-a-way plans entail but, I think that would basically be you buy $10-20 of zen a month until you can afford the pack then buy it with zen.
Where the plan I mentioned would be you subscribe/agree to pay $X per month for X months and would pretty much have instant access to the contents of the pack as long as you kept paying until you had paid off the total amount (owned it), or decided you didn't want it and stopped paying thereby loosing access to the items it contained.
