Request for Winter/Summer Store items to be Account bound not Character

Hi Cryptic just a request please. can we have items from the winter and summer event stores bound to account rather than character. I ask this mainly due to certain items like the frosted boots are turing into a must need item, Esp when running the Voth Battlezone, as it certainly is a disadvantage to not have them when it comes to racing across zones to kill Dino's.

I'd just be happy if they put the Winter 2014 items back in the event store.

Another option would be for the boots not to work in that zone, eh? Then you wouldn't feel the need for them, yeah?

Would also alleviate the issue of folks that started playing between Winter Events not having access to them and being...disadvantaged...by not having them. :P

I don't want to take anything away from those that do benefit and paid for those boots. So opening up the store so 1 toon can buy for all is what i'd rather have.

Nice idea, won't ever happen. They have to keep you coming back with different toons.

I support this.

I don't like having stuff available for a limited time.

Especially when we're talking about very useful stuff like those snow boots or certain doffs from Chrystalline/Mirror event. Or ships like the Kobali and Dyson ones, that you need to complete the sets from ships you paid thousands of Zen for.


Please Cryptic, if you're going to ask people to create a new character, then at least consider that people will want to get all the stuff they have on their older characters. This should most certainly be the case when we're talking about sets that are part of/complete the set from Z-store ships.

Edit: I understand that they want people to be active during events. But seeing there are people who pay hundreds of lobi just to get an event ship a little sooner, I doubt they would lose much if they made the stores account wide unlocks. It might even be a win-win situation.
