Fed Tutorial, Defeat Borg One Zero One bugged

So my Engineer put down mines in front of Borg 101 before disabling the force field, once disabled 101 stepped forward onto the mines and blew himself up. Unfortunately the game does not recognize this as defeating 101 and it is now just stuck on that objective, can't beam up, can't drop the mission, progress is completely stopped. Only way I see out of it is to delete the character and start over.
