Grylak - Wow. Nice "47" reference thrown in there.
In the end, when the past Talaina and Ttorkkinn died, I do not think thi swould have affected the present T&T because they effectively displaced themselves from "time". In my mind, if either pair were removed, then the other pair would simply replace them. Having said that, if the past Talaina (for example) had a met someone and a child was born, then that child would be "erased".

Glad you guys are enjoying the end. And yeah, I couldn't resist the 47 reference.
I knew I wanted to do a reset of sorts, ever since I wrote jenna's last piece, but I don't like stories where everyone gets reset. I prefer there to at least be some carry over. I didn't want Talaina to be alone in the reset, hence the buildup with Ttorkk since they got back, and also why I didn't name Simba after Jenna, despite how much I loved that idea!
As for the replacing thingy.... the general route of time travel is what happened. They displaced themselves in time and as such, they continue to exist whatever happens to the past selves. But Talaina isn't a temporal genius and I just wanted to address the wibbly wobbly timey wimey nature of it all.

I got that reading it and the pass-over about the whole issue was what I would have done as well. I mused on it during my commute home though. I was a good piece to do what you wanted to get done.
Thank you for reading! I was worried it was too short, and this LC was like tearing off a Band-Aid.
I think the intrigue could've been dragged out a bit longer, but I thought it was okay as it was Then again, the center act of my last entry was way too short, as I was so keen to get to the confrontation, so feel free to disregard
