There were no drastic changes in any of these conversions. They were natural Next Tier improvements.
The Andromeda is a technical exception; they changed its Boff Loadout from the old Intrepid/Galaxy/Defiant Trinity due to a plethora of complaints over the older two versions, among other of things (such as the fact that the second and third Eng seats were mostly useless due to shared CDs on the only useful Eng skills), and now shares a similar setup with the D'D (and in that round, the D'K got shafted with the Command Hybrid on its LtC Tac seat).
I will agree otherwise that the Defiant is not likely to change from it's current setup, since it's always been useful. Thus, it'd follow the Pathfinder's loadout in Tac and Pilot flavor with an Ensign Tac being turned into an Lt Universal and the LT Sci seat getting the Pilot Hybrid seat.

The guys expecting drastic **** are setting themselves up for heartbreak. Just like the guys who were assuming and talking about the Pilot Ships were going to be a T6 Defiant when history says otherwise. But yes, it's going to be fun watching the heartbreak with the T6 Defiant With all the history Cryptic had with these T5->T6 conversions, it's amazing how people think it's going to be different for their favorite ship.
I'm a B'Rel and Mogai fanboi. But even I have more realistic guesses of what the T6 versions of those ships are going to be.
Name it the sisco class. Red squad squandered the ship when they had it in a failed attack that showed why it should take you a few years to command a star ship, not an accident a few hours after you left the academy. I would love the t6 defiant to have the 5/2 weapon set up, a 5/3 for the fleet version would be amazing, but i can already imagine the complaining that would bring on. As far as an extra console/weapon, a 360 degree phaser array. Yes there is already the one made through crafting, but it would put phasers on a more level ground with AP weapons due to the ancient omni beam.
