Delta Recruitment is just around the corner! Creating a Captain will have a bounty of new rewards available for players both new and old!

    Introducing the Temporal aspect now, huh? Why not just have an NPC come back in time, tell us what to do (and where it is that the Iconian are hiding) and be done with it. Also, release the recruitment information already. I'm tired of news that it's coming, with no actual information other than it's coming; I had already figured that much out.

    I (truly) hope you guys know what you're doing here, I see a great potential to backfire. I for one have no intention of starting up another character just for a few toys. I'm still working on leveling existing characters. :(

    Edit: The only way I'm starting a new character is if he is a true Cardassian (costumes and all) for any faction of my choice. Otherwise, forget it.

    I'm now wondering how Task Force Omega has been reassigned from the Borg to be an Iconian Temporal unit. How will THIS affect the Reputation System?

    From the Blog: "...Everyone will get a free character slot at the beginning of Delta Recruitment, so there's no penalty for starting a Delta Recruit character. In fact, you'll be earning bonuses for all your characters throughout the event!..."

    That is so interesting. One slot more!! well i prepare name and class... i hope in this oportunity we can get FERENGI CROSS FACTION :D:D

    I'm frankly wondering more about the female Romulan reflection, when the Omega armor rear profile looks like that of a male base.

    If it was some romance novel cover (the soldier and thoughts of his love), I'd get it, but it just seems a little off otherwise.

    Also, shouldn't it technically be a MACO soldier? They're the space marine equivalent for the Feds. Though admittedly, the Omega Force armor looks more future marine-worthy armor set.

    Thinking on it now, it would be a perfect time to add the other two MACO variants (Operational and Tactical) and the Omega Force (Reaper and Quietus) and KDF equivalents as unlocks, and the ability to color the MACO sets like that of the MACO Photonic Bridge Officer.

    Well it certainly is useful to have them in a place where Romulans can get to them before level 10. Guess the early artifacts will be in the early missions.

    In order to claim these account-level rewards, you simply need to take your non-Delta character and visit the Temporal agent for that character’s faction. This NPC will have a Store on them that contains all the account-level rewards your alt characters can claim. They can claim any of the account-level rewards earned by the Delta Recruit on the same account. Each of your characters can claim the account level rewards once from the Temporal agent. These rewards include Marks, Equipment, Consoles, R&D Materials, and other items.

    Based on the wording, I am unclear if this means the that I have to visit the Recruits faction Agent or the Claiming Character's Factional Agent.
    Can we get this clarified?

    Because this means to mean I need only 1 new Recruit, or Three new Recruits, if I want all my toons to get the stuff.

    The Task Force Omega hasn't been retasked. While they are showing the TFO recruiting poster nothing in the blog said that. The Feds report to Temporal Investigations. The KDF have the Temporal Intelligence Division and the Roms have the Romulan Temporal Defense.

    As for the Iconians ... can't our main characters just go fly up to gate dude, wormhole aliens and anyone else of interest and beat them into... I mean.. ask them about the Iconians?

    Having things be account-wide is very nice and that was the right thing to do. I'm also impressed that they, somewhat, addressed players concerns (that never happens or doesn't happen enough). Although I am still looking to see what these rewards, specifically, will be? A ship perhaps? That would be nice *cough* obsolete T5s *cough*

    How long will the vendor be available and will characters need to have existed during the promo to claim the items if the vendor remains available after the event ends?

    Admiral McCallister here, I fly a Temporal Science Ship a Wells class designation "The Quasar". Since we are about to be drawn into a temporal war you need to understand the "Grind Effect".

    You are about to embark on a grind that unless you find a short cut like playing 24 hrs a day will take you at least 6 months to earn a level 5 reputation. Sadly the equipment you earn will be of little to no use unless you can upgrade it to MKXIV Epic level.

    In the near future the company must decide on fixing the ui lag problems and bugs like the one that makes your crew go awol or if they continue the power creep with the next shiny baubble.

    Here is a wonderful idea Cryptic let us trade a lockbox ship for a T-6 Constution Refit.

    I didn't even see that but you are right.... this "agent" is probably gonna act as an account-wide rep vendor.... son of a *****!

    I'm guessing you'll have to visit the claiming toon's Temporal Agent. Fed toons can't go to First City, Klinks can't go to ESD, and neither can go to the Flotilla.

    As Delta Recruits complete the goals presented to them in the Recruit UI, they are earning rewards. Many of these rewards are account-bound
    Okay, and what about the ones that aren't account bound? Are they going to be things that our mains can't ever get? It's good that you're making account bound rewards, but until you tell us that delta recruits aren't going to get any permanent bonuses whatsoever over our main characters, I'm going to be wary of this event.

    Still a lot more information is needed.
    If you've come to the forums to complain about the AFK system, it's known to be bugged at the moment.

    Does these reward include XP???????????

    As this is the only thing I need for my alt toons

    Crafting stuff is useful but XP is what I need tbh.

    Well, if nothing else, at least they're recognizing that this event isn't particularly friendly to existing players with huge amounts of time/money already invested in this game and they're trying to do something about it.

    Only time will tell if it actually works.

    I love it. The use of the store NPC to access the account-wide benefits is awesome.

    This sounds like something that's going to be really, really run to try out. Looking forward to playing, and seeing what all the rewards are! :D

    It isn't, but there've been a handful of threads in the Republic section asking for a reason to visit the Flotilla again. There's one right there.

    So what rewards do we get if we get a Delta Recruit in each faction to level 50, complete their story arcs, and whatever other Delta Recruitment goals are available?
