Alyosha's a HUGE music geek. When he named the ship, his mind went from Undine design sensibilities (very dissonant and wild) and ethics (uncompromising and often cruel) to the "Rite of Spring"...and from there, to Stravinsky.

Others like "Audaces Fortuna Iuvat" are debatable as there are many other variations possible.
