Two thing I would like to see (purely cosmetic)

The two things I would like to see from a straight up cosmetic point are:
  • Let me change to uniform on my Breen BOFF (and the other none aligned races)
  • Let me set a default uniform for the randon toons wandering around my ship

THese aren't important or game breaking in any way but the ability to show that my Jem'Hadar BOFF is actually part of the crew and that the random toons wandering around the ship are would make a small contribution to immersion

Both have been suggested in the past and, unfortunally, I fear this will yield the same response as before...

    *crickets*
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.

For other bridge officers, it would be cool to be able to change their uniforms, but for Breen it just wouldn't work. The Breen are an amorphous jelly-like creature that if it weren't for the suit they wear, their bodies would boil away in all but the most frigid conditions.

As a work-around of sorts, I use the Kobali uniform (recolored to imitate the Starfleet Uniform Code) as the 'exchange uniform' on my Fed boat. Not that it helps the Jem'Hadar or Heirarchy officers on my bridge...

As for the second point raised, one has to wonder 'why not?'. It seems a matter of extending the basic uniform selection mechanic currently extant for characters and bridge officers (not the full customization palette) to shipboard crew and summoned details. For example, you might want your crew wearing the Wells uniform (assuming you've picked that up), but the summons (i.e. Security Escort) wearing Omega or MACO battledress if available.

They could simply add the costume options Breen NPCs have, and let us recolor them. That alone would be a drastic improvement ... although I do not believe your description of Breen has ever been stated in official, canon sources. Only mention of anything close to it I can think of is when Weyoun said Breen is not an ice ball like he expected, but actually rather nice.

While these two things would be nice, it's simply a question of how much work will Cryptic have to do for these versus how much reward they will get. Interiors are ignored by players and therefore Cryptic while costumes aren't a huge priority.

It's true, there is no official explanation as to how a Breen looks (which is a good thing! People need to realize that those things are sometimes good!). MA quotes "In purgatory's shadow" as a source for the statement that Breen don't have blood, though, but I don't know wether that has been actually said in dialogue.

Customization of the Breen BOFF with the NPC costume options though would be a good thing, why not. A Breen in a Starfleet uniform wouldn't work though, they probably rely on their suits to survive. Then again, the Breen homeworld was mplied to have a bearable climate and probably Breen don't have to wear those suits at home. We don't even know if maybe only fighting Breen wpre them - but again, sometimes it's good to keep some mysteries :)
