Have you ever had one of those days where no matter what game you logged into, it would be ether down or bugged?

"STO is lagging like hell and I'm tired of the endless grinding. Time to go play Warframe."

"... okay, Warframe is suffering connection issues with NAT and I can't get a stable team long enough to complete a 20 minute mission. I'll just go play ArcheAge."

"Okay, ArcheAge has a bunch of hackers and Trion/XL games is even more unethical with their monetization than PWE/Cryptic is. I'll go play Firefall."

"... wow, okay these UI bugs are even worse than STO's. Looks like I'm stuck with STO for the time being. At least the forums can be a little entertaining from time to time."

Out of curiosity, which games do you all play when online games are down? I usually turn to Smash Bros on the 3DS, the Ace Combat series, Mass Effect (1 and 2), Fallout: New Vegas, and Skyrim. I realize that the last two are even more buggy than STO, but those bugs are either hilarious or easily worked around for PC players. Plus, Mods.

That is why I love my Playstation 2. No internet access, so I can do what I want! And 90% of the time, that doing is going to be Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. I can go around killing FBI and then taking their trucks for my own personal trophies, I can shoot at random vehicles and watch them rampage, I can drive around in a tank and destroy everything in front of me, or I can simply fly around. I love an open-world sandbox.
I completed a 2-man CSE, ISE, and KASE, Optionals included. And I soloed Winter Invasion.

I do sometimes step away from the computer even when everything is working. About to complete another run-through of the Mass Effect trilogy, which will be followed by the ceremonial gripe about gaping plot holes (I brought peace between geth and quarians at Rannoch! Why can't I bring that up when the Catalyst tries to insist that synthetics and organics must inevitably fight to the death?).

I also sometimes play Minecraft on the XBox 360 with my son, which has become more enjoyable since the horse update came through - locate the villages on the map, then build roads between them (tunneling through mountains where necessary) so when you start playing survival mode, you can get from one village to another without getting jumped by monsters. (He also likes one of the new additions to the Tutorial World - in the southwestern corner of the map, they've added a large, well-equipped house designed by longtime player Stampy Longnose.)

Sometimes I even slip away to my room, where I keep my old XBox (Halo: CE, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2, Knights of the Old Republic, KotOR 2: the Sith Lords) and PS2 (GTA III trilogy, Star Trek: Shattered Universe).

Had that happen to me yesterday, due to an ISP TRIBBLE up none of my online games were working or were just rubber banding all over the place.

Being rubber banded 3 times from 4km up straight to the ground on war thunder was not funny.
Lucky I have the first dawn of war and it's expansions, even did a marathon saxon campaign on barbarian invasion.

If I'm forced into offline mode I'll go for the first Dawn of War games and expansions and Gran Turismo on my PS. If I set it up I also sometimes still play the original SW:Battlefront on the XBox.

Apart from that I like to play around with Photoshop doing bits 'n' pieces and might try my hand at 3D modeling in the future.

I still have an Xbox, but Halo's story game isn't as fun as the live PvP was. Some of those guys would totally freak out when they died. I realize it didn't help to laugh at them. :D

Who here still plays with Emulators and ROMs?

I go offline old school: Civilization II, Roller Coaster Tycoon II (I've got a CD full of user created content for the game, which really brought the customization quality up), and Axis & Allies. The graphics might not be on par with today's standards, but the core games remain really fun.

        Awww! It's down again. :(

I hope it's to fix both the Dilithium and button bugs. My ground buttons do not highlight when an enemy is in range, nor do they show that I have activated them, even for a cool down animation.

There was also another bug I reported, I turned in a Reputation that I had just finished, but only earned 9k Dil. Instead of 50k.

Has anyone else experienced this yet?

Depends on the Reputation. Task Force Omega only rewards 9k dil since Season 7 while the others reward 32k if I remember correctly.

It has always been like that. The Tier 5 rewards are set up so that you can get a piece of Mk XII gear for free. The Romulan Reputation doesn't have any ground sets so the rewards allow you to purchase one piece of Mk XII Romulan/Reman Space Set for free while the Task Force Omega Reputation allows you to buy one piece of the Mk XII STF ground set for free.

Actually.... by "since season 7" he means "since Task Force Omega was converted into a reputation".

Omega rep has always been odd in that it only awards 9k.

I ask, because the ones I earned before where 50k each for Luna and Diva. My alien is starting to top out. But this is okay, I'm still pleased with what I have already put together. My KDF character is only to help the Klingon side of my guild to earn Marks for the starbase. My others are for enjoying the game and they are already setup.
