- - I can't believe the PvErs allow them to violate their STF territory so brazenly. Why do they get away with it?
- The PvErs have a treaty of non-aggression and friendship with the Devs, so they're willing to turn a blind eye to almost anything in the name of friendship.
- - What we need is to bring the PvErs into the war on our side. With the combined forces of the PvPers and the PvErs we could finally go on the offensive.
- - - That's the last thing the PvErs want. Think about it. They're in the perfect position. They get to sit back enjoying their new content every season, and watch as their biggest rivals slug it out in a long, bloody war. No one's threatening their interests. Why should they risk their necks? There's simply no reason for them to get involved in our war. No reason at all.

Sharxtreme was right about one thing. A guilty conscience is a small price to pay for the safety of the PvP community, so I will learn to live with it. Because I can live with it.

- - You'll get no argument from me there. But protests and "best expansion ever" signatures aren't going to change anything. They're just going to cause trouble for everyone.

- Is it? Cryptic are in control of this game. Non-monetized parts of the game are being curtailed one by one. And soon the first wave of dinosaurs with lasers on their heads will be landing on our world.
- - We're talking about harmless PVE enemies. They come in, they do their job, and they're gone.

--- Hmm! All of this is just a little too perfect. The immersive Patrol Missions with the answers to all of our XP problems; the message from Cryptic telling us everything we want to hear; a T6 free Kobali starship delivered to our doorstep - what more could we ask for?
They even gave us free Gold Upgrades. The only thing missing was a playable Dog race and solving Caitian tail clipping problems.
It does seem to be convenient.

You were correct, Captain. My desire to remain in the Delta Quadrant was based on fear. I am no longer grinder, but the prospect of becoming PvPer is... unsettling. I don't know where I belong.

- - Not at all. I've been watching them very closely since the beginning of the war, and so far, they've kept their part of the bargain.
- They're violating your STF territory almost every day. What kind of an ally is that?
- - So they're crossing my backyard to give the PvPers a bloody nose. I can't say that makes me very sad.
- You can't be naive enough to think that the Devs are going to stop with the PvPers. When they're finished with us, they're be coming after you.
- - That's speculation.
- The Devs see it as their sacred duty to bring order to the galaxy. Their order. Do you think they'll sit idly by while you keep your chaotic PvE community right next to their perfect order? No. If you watch us go under, then what you're really doing is signing your own death warrant.
- - But before I plunge my people into a conflict that will kill millions of loyal PvErs, I need something more concrete than the self-serving argument of a PvPer. I need proof of Devs duplicity. Not more words, proof.
