This little issue has been going on I think even before the annvarsory event because I got back into play mid xmas event and still see this issue,,,
At random times traveling through sector space rather in slip steam or not in any zone anywhere, I get a total game crash brings up a pop up fatal error and then STO's little report a bug thingy...
While I don't know how to link a picture of the error I'mma just type exactly what it says...

I have 2 Nvidia EVGA 480GTX's running SLI, window mode, with max settings and the game runs amazingly fine except for the sector space crash to desktop.
My graphics card driver is a little outta date but they say improvement for games like Dying light which my cards are kinda a bit old but I never had this issue on my older comp moving the cards to my new comp, so I dunno if its a driver issue or a STO issue, it seems like theres a memory leak probably because why wouldn't it crash anywhere else? Only sector space? Seems odd to be that specific.
So far, people in my cross-game channels, fleet channel, and zone have basically said the most reliable way to get around this problem is to switch to the DX 9 client. Sad, huh?
It gets even better. Now there are combat crashes in both clients since the Anniversary patch.
Isn't it fantastic being able to run newer, more GFX intense games like ESO, TSW, and even code bombs like Wildstar yet this old beast seems to have development arthritis?
