Even if you do not agree with it for what ever reason the feds and klinks being at peace and allies again. For game play reason they should allow grouping together.
It would help with the KDF pve side. Make it so it isn't as dead. It's not like it hasn't been done in the show, DS9 has all 3 factions working hand in hand in joint operations. This would allow a more intergrated PVE community. May help with KDF continued population decline. I know many people that wont play there KDF toons anymore because they feel its dead on the PVE side.
Wow. Entire factions given up on. Forum feedback and communication abandoned. Hilariously broken 99% testing procs patched into live, hardly any communication between what was on the test server, what is going live or what is actually in the game at any moment. Seemingly nonsensical, self-contradictory posts by heads of the team. Solutions roll out looking for problems to fix while the actual problems wailed on about on a daily basis fall to the way side.
I don't even see the cosmic1 here defending Cryptic's behavior any more. That's pretty telling.
I did those as an Orion so the Barge of the Dead stuff was really amusing to me. :P
Took this screenshot about two and a half years ago, on my first play-through of the red side. I think you just sort of have to treat the entire Fek'lhri arc as some sort of hallucination. IIRC some of the mission dialog implies that it's not really happening, too.

OMG- that mission is the BEST mission in STO. I've lost count as to how many ways I could torture that fed scumbag until he talked. I think the riflebutt assault is my favorite.
Now you've gone and reminded me that I haven't played that mission in a while. Thanks alot.
The only thing that keeps me interested in star trek is the replaybility of 'Klingon Academy', it's certainly not sto.
I will never accept that mission's disgusting, forced torture. Never.
Now I WILL give you that Klingon Academy is good writing. VERY good writing. I never played the game but after seeing one cutscene, had to sit down and watch the whole thing on YouTube as a movie.
Had STO's Klingon writing been up to that caliber, and that three dimensional, I might have felt differently. I also cannot say enough good about Christopher Plummer, David Warner, and the sheer gravitas and intelligence that they brought to their roles. Rather than one dimensionality we saw different Klingon philosophies in operation. And had there been other races in the Empire in that production, I would have actually had a reasonable expectation they would be treated equally intelligently and not simply stuffed thoughtlessly into a Klink mold.
Quite frankly, I was able to respect Thought Admirals Chang and Gorkon, in a way I cannot with the TNG Klingons and *especially* not the STO KDF's outright idiotic behavior.
What happened with STO's Klinks...sorry, fait accompli the moment of launch. If the premise of the war would not have been so stupid, this would not have been the inevitable end to the plot arc.

It is even funnier as a joined trill.
