Gorn BOffs losing quality

I have a KDF aligned Romulan over level 50. I have, on three separate occasions, bought a very rare quality Gorn BOff from the exchange and each and every time I select the Gorn from my list of available BOffs on my stations tab and select join, the purple/very rare Gorn turns, magically, into a blue/rare BOff. I have tried it with all three career classes. I am not sure what the problem is, I tried the online help feature and was advised to open a bug report. Only problem with that is, it has become impossible to log in and stay connected for more than two minutes. What is going on???

    This is "working as intended"... Hope I can explain it correctly. There are some skills/traits that make the game see BOs as purple level but are not actually "Superior". When you activate them the game does a check and they don't actually have Two superior traits so it reverts them to a blue level.

    The bug is them being listed as purple when in fact they are blue.

    No the bug is that it only awards 1 sup trait when it should be 2... the game forces 3 regular racial traits on the boff and so it only has room for 1 trait left.

    1 of the racial trait should be a sup version so this does not happen. or the sup version of this boff should have a limit of 2 racial traits... leaving room for 2 sup traits.

    if you check the fed diplomacy bridge officers... the gorns there have 2 sup traits.

    Oh and the gorn Intel boff also has 2 superior traits.
