1 ESD omega partical wont advance the quest when you are in space. a few have been able to advance the ESD space by scanning the node at the acedemy closest to the sea.
2 No omegas in Bajor, no work around I know of.
3 Dropping the quest and retaking wont work if you get Bajor or ESD space UNLESS you go out and scan one of the other 3 requires for the quest THEN cancel and retake. (still random what you get but is not 100% same like if you scanned 0)
Most DS9 space nodes work; but i hit one that quit sending particles well before the timer ran out... only got 10 seconds of particles but still had 17 HOURS left on the timer; link to screen below for the curious..
Just too bad we can't get some help, feeling ignored no updates or anything.
Exactly. I'm not going to demand anything out of this in some entitled rage, but it is rather insulting that you've literally made half (day 2 and day 4 of the 4 days) of the dailies impossible for federation players, and you haven't even acknowledged it. That's insulting and unprofessional.
1 - Take Bajor Space out of the possibilities for the mission.
2 - Have someone look in the code and see what system we're actually supposed to be in (since the mission text is wrong)
3 - Put a particle in Bajor Space.
Or.... 4 - since you're just the forum guy working on the weekend, and you never get to see the code.... post a response like an actual professional acknowledging the situation.
Lag effects everything is pretty much breaking all of the above.
The Q in party patrol doesn't despawn so you see two.
For the Omega Particle missions...
Most of the problems I have noticed seem to revolve around load/lag?
You either rubberband so much that you can't interact with the particle properly or you lag so much during the mission that it's almost impossible to get a score higher than say 800ish... if your really lucky or really good you may get better.
I'm guessing this is a virtualization/load problem ... you may want to consider capping out the shards at say 30 or so connections per or instituting a queue or change how the mini game is located/works.

I can confirm that this happens at Starfleet Academy. It doesn't happen at Klingon Academy. There appear to be duplicate mini-Qs that never despawn. This results in the following phenomena:
1. A player can walk across a mini-Q, but not see a prompt. Later, another mini-Q will spawn at the same spot, overlapping with the one already there. At this time, a prompt will appear.
2. While one mini-Q runs away (sometimes disguised as something else), another mini-Q will stay at the original spot.
3. While one mini-Q runs between the boxes, another mini-Q will stay at the original spot, under the middle box.

Since no one is acknowledging the issue... I turned to a dangerous source.... ESD zone chat.
They're saying that once you've run the mission, "Crack in the mirror" you've have the correct Bajor.
I'll update you if it works.
EDIT:
BAJOR WORK AROUND CONFIRMED
There were two traces in the space part of the mission, so much for "social zone" lol
