in the tribble notes there is mention of kdf not showing up on pvp scoreboards as a known issue. this was discovered by borticus on the tribbles in ecstasy podcast the other day.
this is proof that not a single person that works at cryptic pvps, at least since DR. it would take a single match to notice this, and a handful of brain cells to figure out why names are missing and the teams look so uneven, but weren't.
its ludicrous to even hope, pvp is just drug along for the ride. even if there was care for how new things would work in pvp, they have no perspective.
this game at its core is on pvp architecture, with placeholder tier npc opponents added on, in gross mass. the managers actually run this game with not a single pvp playing, truly pvp gameplay aware dev, on this pvp architecture game. this isn't just the type of incompetence that should get people fired, its the kind that should get people blacklisted. surely just having STO on all their resumes after this ship finally sinks will be enough.

Like remember the dyson destroyer set cooldown issue? They fixed that like a week after they learned it was broken, and that only happened because I badgered customer support into sending an email to adjudicatorhawk about it.
If you're reporting bugs and you want them to actually get to the devs you have to find a way to bypass Q&A, because Q&A is literally five people, and there's a lot of stuff that goes totally unreported. Your best bet is to either PM one of the less popular devs like jHeinig, or to badger customer service until they agree to send an email asking about it.
