Game Crashes in "A Step Between Stars"

I was going through "A Step Between Stars" to get some needed XP and, when I did, the game would crash when I got to the point where I had to fight the Voth with either the lasers, the drones or alone. I chose the lasers and that's what caused it to crash. I'll see if choosing the drones do the same.

ETA: Okay, drones don't crash it, so it might be the lasers only.
