T6 Intrepid Ship Name On Saucer

Anyone else having this problem? (Right-click and open in new tab for a better resolution):

It looks like a jumble of overlapping characters. I can sort of make out my ship's name (USS Curiosity).

Is there an easy fix? Thanks!

    It's a glitch that happens. Rename your ship on the ground, beam up. Then beam back down and rename it the original name.

    Thanks! Didn't work though, I tried 3 different names, still ended up jumbled when I beamed up into space. It's now a repeating string of "9870".

    Strange. Try resetting your ship to default in the ship creator - then changing the parts back to the way you want.

    Thanks! That worked! Must have been an issue that cropped up when I was playing around with my ship's material.

    You're welcome. The ship customization system has got to be murder to code. Glad you got your ship fixed.

    That Intrepid looks excellent, which ship material are you using?
    Fleet Advanced Research Vessel T6
    Commander Science, Lieutenant Commander Engineering, Lieutenant Commander Universal, Lieutenant Tactical, Ensign Science

    Intrepid comes with actual accurate texture. It's amazing. The whole game needs a similar revamp. And, of course, unlock large palette for all character costumes! 5th Anni Advocacy!
