Competitive Race Tactic

I have been seeing a new tatic/power being used in the Competitve Race in the Winter Event. I have asked those I see using it only to be ignored.

During the race I see them glow green and a short green streak appears behind then they run much faster for a brief time. Then after a short cool down they do it again. What is that power they are using?

    Specialization trait, after roll 3sec speed increase, not to mention, dodge and avoidance bonus

    Not specialization. CC armor.

    I know its not that specialization trait as they don't roll before hand. So whats CC armor?

    8472 rep armor or delta rep armor is good for running but the best way is still forward jumping

    This is caused by the Counter-Command armour. Not sure what the specific aspect of it that causes this is called but it basically acts like a motion accelerated suit for you.
    After you roll you get a short speed boost.
    Combine with frosted boots for some mental speeds :D

    Very useful in winter wonderland races.

    Useful if you know what you are doing. Otherwise it will just make you drift and slide even more, wasting a few seconds.

    Counter-Command Exo-Armor


    +30% Physical Damage
    +46.5 Physical Damage Resistance Rating
    +46.5 Kinetic Damage Resistance Rating
    +93.1 All Energy Damage Resistance Rating
    +43.6 Toxic Damage Resistance Rating
    +43.6 Psychic Damage Resistance Rating

    For 3 seconds after performing a roll gain:


    +25% Dodge
    +50% Avoidance
    +25% Runspeed - Green trail is graphic for this occurring

    __ Health Regeneration (Increases as health decreases)

    add the Frosted Boots

    +7 Run Speed
    Reduces your traction


    = constant 7% increase in speed and and bursts of +32% for 3 secs.

    Thanks! I had that armor but never used that aspect of it
