Chat Completely Disabled after Dec 31 Server Downtime

After the emergency service on the server, i log back into game and my chat is completely gone, every channel, custom or normal in any chat window is gone, cant whisper to anyone, its totally screwed up.

as a side note my friends list offline or online is completely missing as well probably related to this.

    Its known. People have been very vocal about it for hours. In fact, word is its listed on the launcher now.
