My Old Blog about things that could and should have been added when I wrote it. Not sure what I want to do with it now. I'll just keep it available now that most of it is outdated.
Standard T6?
Intel T6?
Or perhaps some even better form of T6 that's in the works down the road?
War T6. All with 5 forward weapons, including the Carrier and Science ship. The War trait would involve firing Federation captains through the torpedo tubes (whilst playing some maniacal laughing sound), temporary placating your enemy. Or else a passive damage boost. You know, either way.
- A proper Dahar Master jacket for the KDF.
- A T5U Miranda given to the Romulan Republic Fleet under Lend Lease arrangements.
- A T5U K't'Inga given to the Romulan Republic Fleet under Lend Lease arrangements.
- Something other than sandals for Orion Female footgear for whenever I want my Orion ENG to go native and have a night out on the town.
- More and far better PvP maps.
- A balance pass for the whole game and PvP in particular.
(NOTE: I don't do a lot of PvP. However the PvP crowd is a part of the playerbase and they deserve some love.)
- A proper VOIP system for the game which works. So I don't have to rely upon 3d party apps.
- Appearances and VOs by the ENT crew. Especially Linda Park. I kinda have a thing for Hoshi.
And one more thing...
- A T6 JJprise. Just for the hilarity which would ensue.
EDIT: Forgot one. And yes I am serious. - A Captain Proton Featured Episode. but only if it can be done in Black and White.
A six year old boy and his starship. Living the dream.
Some of the missing ship options and discount packs for the KDF and Romulan factions, that were somehow misplaced when dividing 9 by 3 ended up with 5/2/2. Honestly, though, the current rate (and implementation to a lesser extent) of progression and my penchant for creating alts means that there are things that I'd like to see even before that. Those are things that influence the likelihood of my spending money in the first place, rather than things I would spend money on, if that makes any sense...
Anyway, the things that would come first have all been mentioned elsewhere (on the occasion that I gave serious feedback in the hopes that it might do something), and need not be re-hashed yet again. Fix the disincentives to spend, then give me something to spend on, in that order.
With each passing day I wonder if I stepped into an alternate reality. The Cubs win the world series. Donald Trump is President. Britain leaves the EU. STO gets a dedicated PvP season. Engineers are "out of control" in STO.
I would not pay for anything. But the removal of the post counter on the forums would be great..... It would stop some people replying just for the sare of adding more to their count.
There's obviously the bugs that need addressing - and we shouldn't have to specifically pay for them. Bug Hunts (those of the game code kind) should be Cryptic's top priority; they should want the game and the content to be working at peak efficiency. The other thing that I want, yet feel we should not pay for is faction specific generic missions.
I am fine with each faction playing through the same story, but the stories need to be tweaked enough that they feel like their significant to each faction when playing them. If I'm playing a Delta mission (for example) as a Klingon - I want to feel like in a Klingon in the Delta Quadrant, not that I'm a Klingon playing under the watchful eye of Starfleet command.
When Voyager was in the Delta Quadrant they were (for the most part) following Starfleet protocol. The Romulan Republic and Klingon Empire are going to handle things very differently, and that should be taken into account. All of the missions should be handled from a vastly unique point of view, whilst coming to the same conclusion.
Now we speak purchases, ie; what I'd pay for. The more obvious purchase for me can be seen at the bottom of my post in the form of my signature. I would further throw some more money into the game if the Caitians got some love (in respect to them actually being a feline species, and not a humanoid species with cat heads) in addition to Suliban and Acamarian options for the Republic. I would also like a new 25th Century style T6 Excelsior, T6 Galaxy and T6 Nebula.
There's more, but the above would be a terrific start.
If Cryptic did this, then it would mean the end of players' hopes for a Cardassian mini-faction.
Knowing how borked the Republic faction is right now, or rather, have unfinished it is, would you really want a Cardassian (mini)Faction? At this point I'd rather them just throw a Cardassian Token into the C-Store which provides a Cardassian starter ship (Hideki), a T5 Galor, a T5 Keldon Retrofit and a bunch of Boffs for a specific sum.
I am certain that lots of players that want a Cardassian faction would rather have a Cardassian mini-faction than limited to one or two Cardassian ships, one outfit, and limited to being an officer of Starfleet or the Klingon Empire. Having their own mini-faction is far better than being part of the Federation or the Klingon Empire.
Oh, what about the ability to have a truly free tailor? Mix & match whatever you like, in whatever colour you like (no more "brown or black or nothing" for KDFs), where ever you like (no more "you may not wear that here).
It would be pretty cool if NPCs in places like ESD would react to a player wearing something...inappropriate... for the setting, i.e. swimsuit in admirals office.
Or hows about being able to use any boff in any slot with the downside of that boff having somewhat increased CDs as a result of using a station not suited to them? That would open up some interesting possibilities build-wise.
-No more of this unique bridge officer, available in one profession, and without customization uniforms nonsense. Why is it possible to own several Breen/Jem Hadar etc ships, numerous Breen Jem'Hadar etc Duty officers, but we get stuck with only one member of the species, in one profession if we want to theme our actual bridge crew/away team? At this point I don't even care if they put them in lockboxes.
-Flyable Orion Warbarge, Naga Fighter, etc etc. The KDF only gets a fraction of the ships that Nausicaans, Orions, and Gorn fly-it's a real shame too. Adding these pre-existing ships for players would go a long way towards making the factions feel like they had some sort of balance, too.
-Kits for Bridge officers! Seriously, something to do with extra kits and modules would be nice, we can only equip so many of them at once.
-Better Intel Officer availability. The Delta Rising Boffs are just flat out better than their non-intel counterparts (space traits on a vulcan, etc) Why do we have to buy a pack that costs in excess of $100 just to get them though? There needs to be better way to get VR-quality Boffs.
Asian schoolgirl uniforms, ignore the fact they are done in PWE games, or the fact they are done in many games. You can even debate if they are a money maker or a sign of a psycological issue inherent to many (or few) of the posters here.
Nothing changes the fact that I'd pay for one and that was the OP's question.
- More Original T6 Intel Ships that still retain the necessary core aesthetics of each faction but also keep to the design of the Specialization (so far, "stealthy" for Intel).
- Full Tal Shiar dress and regalia. There never was a reason not to have access to them.
- Mirror Universe Skin + Registry Packs; Fed, Rom, and KDF. Each containing the appropriate Registry Prefix and skin for ALL existing and future Faction starships. Cost increases incrementally with each new faction-ship to reflect this.
- Tholian Tarantula Science Dreadnought with Web Cannon and the 3rd piece set allowing it to auto-teleport the current target front-and-center of its cannon as its charging up to fire. Preferably with a Sci/Intel Reciprocity-style trait.
- Gorn Science Dreadnought with a multi-Phalanx barrier Mastery Trait when using Shield-healing skills.
- More T6 ships that are original but not necessarily Intel, like the Guardian, Aelahl, and Mat'ha.
- More KDF attire, namely belts and shoes/boots compatible with the Orion bottom.
- Delta Tech Upgrades from the C-Store, because if I'm going to waste money upgrading, I want to waste it on something that actually is worthwhile, and those Delta Tech Upgrades are it. I still have to pay the Dil costs and boosters.
- The option to actually unlock the Skins and Overlays (Aegis and Borg go over your existing skin rather than replace it) that unique shields have. Except it doesn't require collecting all 3 parts like the ground sets, just requires you unlock the shield, then pay the unlock fee (Marks + Dil). Mission-reward shields with unique skins have an "event" unlock with a Dil Cost. It would also allow for additional customization; such as Aegis over the Nukara skin, or Assimilated Borg over the Counter Command skin.
- Unlock Elite Frigates so that they can be used by any Frigate-capable Carrier.
- Buy Lobi/Lockbox Elite Hangar Pets with Zen off the C-Store after unlocking the ships they're affiliated with.
- Better shoulder pads.
- Standardized color pallet across all clothing, and proper full color options, even the bright red and green colors (as well as the other colors) of the Winter coats for proper matching.
- More hairstyles.
- A Suggestions Forum, even if they'll never be read and used, for the rare event that it does get read and some suggestions get used.

I'll pay for nothing at all until this game starts feeling like something that is worth the 15gb of space it uses on my hard drive.
At the moment it feels like one of those web-based farmville clones. They don't get any of my money either.

How about Elite Connie Frigate Pets for the KDF...based on the premise of the ship being captured earlier and reproduced as a pet, eh?

- Content dealing with the Krenim
- Fix for Viscous Cycle mission objectives (looking at you unscanable anomaly)
- Tier 5 Light Cruiser Retrofit (FED)
- Tier 6 Bird/ of Prey raider/s (KDF)
- Tier 6 Carrier/s (KDF)
- Tier 6 Support Vessel/s (KDF)
- Tier 5/6 versions of the missing KDF ships (various Orion, Nausicaan and Gorn ships)
- Tier 6 Starfleet (!) Carrier (FED)
- Tier 5/6 Kazon Carrier
- A store that sells R&D crafting DOFFs. That or more assignments that reward one.
- XP gain increase across the board.
- Make Klingon Scout Force a 5 player mission, it doesn't need 15, let alone 20 players.
"Let them eat static!"
