Subspace Party Amplifier Breaking Sprint Function

I just had this happen to me when someone dropped a party amplifier in the winter wonderland
i had just run up to turn in the fastest game on ice, paused a moment to check my inventory, the amp was dropped and i started dancing like usual, which is fine, i don't care normally about the amps; but this time it bugged me, i went to run to the pvp race and i found i couldn't sprint no matter how many times i hit the shift key
i had to relog to fix the problem (therefore missing out on the :15 after race; and now i'm missing the other race too x3)
hopefully this is an issue that can be duplicated and fixed, i can see wide ranging repercussions if the amp can be used to grief pvp race runners in such a fashion
