i dunno whos idea this was, but during the time when they imposed that mail limit.. they forgot to set an exemption for fleet mail.
every time i send a fleet mail i get like 20 or so "mail box full" messages..
[12:35] Vessel Two of Two Unimatrix 01 deals 225232 (271723) Plasma Damage to you with Plasma Lance.
[12:44] Vessel One of Two Unimatrix 01 deals 1019527 (1157678) Kinetic Damage to you with Plasma Energy Bolt Explosion.
Easy fix, kick the accounts from your fleet which are kicking back with mailbox fulll..... no sense having dead accounts cluttering up the fleet.
It doesn't tell you which accounts have full mailboxes. The message is a generic screen fly-in/out. (Besides, both of my fleet leaders tend to have full mailboxes. :P )
Nitpicking is a time-honored tradition of science fiction. Asking your readers not to worry about the "little things" is like asking a dog not to sniff at people's crotches. If there's something that appears to violate natural laws, then you can expect someone's going to point it out. That's just the way things are.
Not only that but there shouldn't be a 'one fleet mail per day'
Of cause there should... The world would be a better place, if there were these kinds of restrictions everywhere (although strongly modified for real emails).
As for the OP request: They have to impose some kind of limit really.
With all the inactive accounts out there, mails can easily become one of the great storage hogs, and while yes: A simple textmessage on it's own dosen't make the much of a difference, several thousand of text-messages will (and probably already are) take up enormous amounts of database space.
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

Or people who sold hundreds of keys on Exchange, and received an email for each and every one of them, prior to being able to disable those, with Cryptic never been willing to spare 5 minutes to add a 'Delete all' button to your mailbox.

This doesn't mean they are dead from the fleet just haven't been on since last patch, so be careful not to kick people who just have busy lives.

So yeah, exit your 'easy fix.'
