Can't claim second breen ship for 40 pictures after upgrade to T5-U

I can't claim a second breen ship (same type) for 40 glossy pictures of Q after upgrading it to T5-U.
I own the ship with a secon character, but it demands 1000 pictures.

Please change this before the event ends.

    That wouldn't happen to be the Chel Grett destroyer by any chance, would it? The discount on that one continues to be an issue for many players even after this last patch's attempted fix. When did you unlock your first one?

    There is a known issue where players who got the Chel Grett during the first year it was available, before the current Reputation system existed, are not getting the discount. There is a fix for this in the works which still needs testing, and so may be in next week's update.

    Daft question, but would the discount apply if I had the ship then discarded it? I've still got a hold of the console from it, but I ditched the ship earlier in the year. The last time I looked it was still asking for 1000 photos for it. So I'm unsure if its a bug or not?
    Oh, it's not broken? We can soon fix that!

    There are already MULTIPLE threads on this, and MAJOR resolution efforts are being made by STO / Cryptic. Please return to an existing thread, and not create a new one.

    From what the Dev's have said.... If you "Discarded" a First-year ship there is no easy way to identify you as a valid owner. In Short:

    (a) if you have it... DO NOT DISCARD IT
    (b) if you already discarded it.... WORK FOR 1000 Portraits.

    AGAIN.... This is being resolved on other threads... please go to them and not run another one.

    claimed chel grett when was first available ( with 2 characters @ 1000 pics each ) - cannot claim now for reduced price on alts

    edit, can claim raider not the chel though

    Just to make sure I read what you posted right, crypticfrost, it's just the first-year Chel Grett? Claiming a full-price Chel Grett (or Plesh Brek or Sarr Theln for that matter) this year shouldn't give us any problems with getting the discount?

    I'm running each ship on a different character to overlap the days needed to run 'The Fastest Game on Ice' for the requisite Q-pictures and I want to be sure that I'll be able to claim the Plesh Brek on the Sarr Theln character for the hanger pets without a problem...

    The problem is with those who got the ship the first year, before the Event Reputation system was in use. If you get it this year, there should be no problems.

    For those with the issue, there is a fix inbound.

    Nope, not correct. I JUST bought a Plesh Brek on a character and opened it (adding it to my roster). Not only are my other characters still being asked to pay 1000 for it, the character that JUST bought it is also being asked for another 1000.

    I have tried removing and reslotting the project. I've tried logging out, then back in. Nothing works. Q wants 1000 photos even though I bought it at full price already.

    Yeah, this is my first year going for the Breen ships, (mainly for the Carrier and you have to get the Raider for the frigate hanger pets, so I just decided to go for the hat-trick)... except, as has been pointed out, it doesn't seem to be working - except for the Sarr Theln, none of them seem to be discounting properly on other characters. (which is a problem for me since I ran the Sarr Theln and Presh Brek on two different characters so I could overlap the days).

    Not to sound whiney, Frost, but I really hope you guys can roll out that fix soon, since there's only about... twenty days left until the Winter Event ends, which means there isn't enough time to completely run through the needed daily races on a character to unlock the ships without the discount...

    Same here with Plesh Brek and Chel Gret (T6 ship works fine)

    Unfortunately, this isn't the case, Frost. I don't know if it's been brought to a Dev's attention (Despite the numerous threads and tickets made about it by many individuals, there's been no word from a Dev that I can find about it), but the only project applying the discount is the Sarr Theln. I didn't do any of the winter event Breen ship projects until this year, didn't even have one slotted, and yet even on the character it was unlocked on it fails to apply the discount.

    Same here, I"m not paying 1000 photos AGAIN, when it says on the tin 40.
    Let's hope Cryptic will fix the issue BEFORE, and with time to actually claim it, the event ends.

    Sorry, but if this is deemed as the root cause criteria then it is incorrect. I started playing this game earlier this year thus had none of the three ships from previous events.
    I unlocked all three ships today - each ship on a seperate character - but account wide discount availability was only afforded to the carrier.

    I had the chell grett unlocked on one of my toons from the 2013 winter event, and the price for my other toons was only 40, so that worked perfectly. I just finished grinding for the plesh brek, and it is not applying a discount. All of my other toons are charged 1000, including the one that finished it and has the ship. I have another toon that is about to finish the grind for the carrier, and im scared that I won't be able to redeem it. Will have to wait and see. This TRIBBLE should have been fixed as soon as the issue was found.

    I'd just like to add that for the second week in a row, we get an update of 'General Server Stability Upgrades' and no fix to the Breen ship situation...

    Same problem here... I can't unlock with discount both ships, raider and cruiser. Carrier was unlocked with no problems.
    Unfortunately I can't submit a help request to support, apparently the ticket system is closed or is bugged too.

    After upgrading the plesh brek on my tac toon, none of my other toons are getting the reputation discount for it now. This is a totally different issue than the Chel Grett from previous seasons. The reputation system is only checking if one of your toons has the T5 Plesh Brek, not the T5-U Plesh Brek when determining whether or not to give the discount.

    For me I already had one unlocked last year and had to unlock the other 2 this year. I finished them today and unlocked the discount for carrier (completed first). The drell grett does not have discount (completed second).

    It might help them find the problem if they see a pattern (maybe).

    If they read this lol

    I'm not sure it's as simple as one pattern... I've been, as have many others, running three characters for a hat-trick. None of my characters have ever obtained any of the Breen ships. On my first character, I purchased the Chell Grett, had too many ships in my inventory, cleared them out, opened the box, and upgraded to T5U. My second character was not afforded any discount on the Chell Grett, but completed the Plesh Brek and did not upgrade it. My third character was not offered a discount on either ship, but went on to obtain the carrier. When I opened that box, there was a brief message that flashed on my screen "You have unlocked an account-wide discount on this ship" or somesuch that was notably absent from the box-openings of the other ships...

    That actually sounds about right, doskious... Now that you mention it, I remember that message appearing when my carrier character opened the box for the Sarr Theln, but not when my raider character got the Plesh Brek... I think you may have hit on something...

    I never recieved the breen ships last year and it bugged out for me as well. Having claimed the ship already may have been an issue for some people, but that doesn't explain people like me who have never had a breen ship until this year, that were hit with the bug.

    Only fifteen days left in the Winter Event and still no word on a fix so we can claim our discounted Breen ships...
