The Console does several things.
1st: When you use a tractor beam or the tractor beam mines, before you set off the console, the beams loose targeting.
2nd: When the targets change into the copy of your ship, They don't target anything or fire at anything till they change back to the original state, then targets the mirror of your ship.
3rd: Other players can't see the effects of the change made from the console, to enemy ships.
I did a search in the forums for anything about this and found nothing. I will continue to test it out. I was thinking that the targets affected by the console would target each other and continue to attack, instead of just sitting there. Like a photonic diplacement of yourself and a scramble sensors ability, all in one console.
