after you lose, you should get an option to leave, and attempting to beam out should get you out normally as well.
and yet, the mission still continues after you time out and get the pity reward, except you get no rewards for beating it. you can't just leave either since that gives you 1 hour cooldown for leaving an active stf, despite it being already lost.

Yes, the option for leaving is currently bugged atm and, is forcing you to have to stick around for quite a bit longer before it will finally pop up.
Seems it is acting wonky to the point, that if player's are not actually in mission for a specific amount of time, it will not offer up the usual leave option.
I am only speculating, that it might be something to do with how it determines time passed, along with the leaver's penalty system.
In other words, there is a specific amount of time it expects player(s) to remain active in mission and, if that time isn't met, it deems leave on your own atm and get a penalty or, remain till full expected time has elapsed than leave if you like.
Any fix for this planned? After you fail the objective it shows a dialogue that you cannot continue with the main mission but also that optional objective failed. Now if you leave you have to endure the 1h penalty (which I just found out :mad: ) or you may continue the mission to the end just to discover there is no end (which I also found out earlier :mad: ).
