Dyson Ground Battlezone - nerfed or bugged?

From yesterday's patch notes:

"Dyson Sphere Battle Zone: Re-balanced how player's scores are calculated for open missions.
Previously, missions were being too generous with points for tasks that were not critical to missions and too penalizing on tasks that were critical for missions."

Does this include changing the reward in the Dyson Ground Battlezone for capping a point and advancing the objective?

Pre-patch the reward was - 90 dilithium and a few Dyson Marks
Post-patch - 5 dilithium and no marks.

Yet in the Space Battlezone the reward for capping a point remains the same - 90 dilithium and some Undine marks.

If the ground zone one is right - pretty excessive nerf to one of the most popular parts of the game, why?
If the space zone one is right - please fix the ground zone capture rewards.

Nerf, not bug. And unrightly punishing legit activity.

When the Trex part is up. If you are present for more then 50% HP of it...it counts for the full 720 Dilth and 25 marks. But if less...you only get a slip of 5 Dilth and no marks.

All points are only giving 90 Dilth and 10 Marks if present for more then 50% but half that if present for less.

This is a perfectly ok nerf for those that run through and tag multiple events. But for those that just showed up !!!, they just ' Finished ' one fully and moved tot he next just to have it less then 50% when they get there...they are >> Punished << as if just tagging and running.

If this stays..then population at Dyson Battleground will just pop out of existence.

Hmm, thought you were one of those peeps who desert the old maps for a moment there.

nah. I just pick the least laggiest maps to do work on. Defera is where I like to hang. On occasion I do head over to the BZ when I need marks, but it's a bit hard on my graphics card... Marks for Defera aren't too bad. Get a decent team together and you can rack up the marks, xp and drops for the dailies

It's a bit hard for me to get a pre-arranged team together to go hit Defera though.

(not hard to find a team for the hards, just a pre-arranged to do all the runs)

Not completely true, often i still get only 5 dil and 0 marks, even though I was the one to start capturing the point!

This may be also a bug.

Yeah, this has been noted by a lot of people in a lot of situations in the BZ. Apparently whatever new calculation they are using to determine participation level is busted enough that you can fully participate in a capture point encounter and get no credit.

(I don't think the '50% rule' mentioned earlier is accurate. I do think that there might be some kind of 'participation decay' if you fight at a point and then leave...)

It can't possibly be working as intended for people who participate fully in an encounter to not get credit. It's a bug.

Having played a few more runs I have to agree it seem to be quite buggy.

How the game registers your interaction at each point seems to be very arbitrary, I've played some points where I've initiated the capture/event and got the "5 dil" as others have arrived and presumably contributed more in the math of how it's worked out (even though i've been the one pushing buttons/advancing the objective etc.). It might be basing it on DPS/healing as in Crystalline etc.

That said there is one way to get credit - solo the point. No questions asked from the calculation Exocomps then.

I've yet to see how teaming affects this - I'd presume that the whole team gets credit for all contributions made by that team. Maybe this is the way to go? Anyone have any experience of how that's working?
