Looks like I've found a replacement for my ADSD Drain Boat.
Those fighters are pretty nice(Evade Target Lock is a great skill that will help keep them alive), although cannon-fighters are generally inferior to beam ones. The frigates have potential, but I worry about their survivability. I doubt either will get me out of using Orion Interceptors though.
It's a real shame about that Intel Seat though. It would have been infintely more flexible(and fun) had it been the Lt Sci instead.
Probably going to get it on most of my characters just for that Mastery Trait though; it's simply a godsend for any ship with fighters.
Does anyone know if you are able to claim this craft and "save it for later" on characters that aren't admirals yet? 'Cause I'd totally be willing to reroll my current KDF toon just for this ship alone if I can...

Yes, you can. The ship(s) come in boxes. You can only open those if a character has reached the minimum level to use the ship(s). But nothing keeps you from getting them before that.
Yeah. The new design is off to me. Looks awkward and unbalanced.
The old design at least looked like a strong Battle Carrier of sorts, and featured all the hallmarks of Breen design while looking new and unique in appearance.
The new one looks like a chunky Chel Grett or one of those awful 3rd party kit bashes you'd see in a mod or something
If you like the new design, good on ya'. I'm personally hoping the devs will throw fans of the old design a bone and let us use it as an alternate hull option

Oh...I forgot about the Atrox...but the Recluse and the Obelisk don't really count...Recluse has a Universal Commander and Obelisk has a Engineering Commander.

I will try to get it this year. It all depends on how my schedule goes. If not I will save the pics until next year.
Only one I think I will add it to is my Romulan. Since my Fed has the Obelisk Carrier and Galaxy Dread. My KDF has the Marauder and Obelisk. So my Romulan really don't have a Carrier other than the Obelisk which I'm not using on the Romulan. But have it incase I ever decided to use it.
However once I get the carrier on my Romulan. I will have to get all the gear to get it up and running. Including the Breen Boff to help run the ship.

The dress is gold and white. Over 70% people says so. When viewed from a certain screen angle it appears blue and black. The dress displayed on amazon is a blue and black dress, but it's not the same dress in the picture. If you're seeing blue & black you're slightly colored blind. A normal upright screen = white and gold.

They actually showed the Plesh Brek Frigate pet last year. So apparently to use the Plesh Brek Raiders, you need last year's Breen ship and this year's Breen ship.

Most likely the warp core, neither of the previous two ships equip singularity cores. The singularity core was basically thrown in for those Romulan-faction players who want to use the full Breen set on their Romulan ships.

I've got two Klingons that fly carriers, one is in a Corsair, the old one because my personal fleet isn't high enough for a tier 3 fleet yard. He likely will not be moving to the new ship, it's look and play just isn't right for him. My other Klingon, I'm still trying to decide what to do with him. He's currently in a mirror Vo'Quv which is of course not upgradeable and for some strange reason the basic Vo'Quv isn't upgradeable. A LONG LONG way off from the fleet Vo'Quv. Again, the look isn't him, he's very much a Klingon loyalist and has only ever flown Klingon ships. For me though, the thing that makes me, the player, hesitant to switch is the bridge. I do not like the "special" bridges and the fact that I can't switch it. I actually like the Breen bridge the best out of all of the 'special' ship bridges. What I don't like about the Breen one (and all the others, for that matter) is the lack of BOff on the bridge. The Breen one is good sized to have several BOffs standing around on it but yet there is only 3. I enjoy going to my bridge and seeing my BOffs standing around. It's the only time I get to see more then a couple of BOffs at one time. Add more BOffs to the bridge or let us switch it out for other bridges and I'd LOVE all of the special bridges.

Obelisk can definitely be flown by an Engineer, in fact I would go so far as to say it is more for an Engineer than Science Officer.

I love the ships in this game. What saddens me, though, is that we're limited in the amount of slots we can buy. We get more and more and more ships added to the game, yet there's a limit to the number we can own. I'm out of slots and can't buy anymore. I've already discharged all the ships I can reclaim too. :mad:
I personally love this carrier. The carrier pets need a better ability then tachyon beam (since that ability is patently useless, ( I mean if 20 people used tachyon beam 3 on a carrier from argala I don't think it would drop the shields <.<) and we get tachyon beam 1 on 4 frigates. <.<
At anyrate it can be an effective torpedo boat. I got 28.5k dps on it in ISA as a full torp boat. You just need full piloting and some skilled manuvers to make use of it.
I don't have the Elite raiders yet... but im hoping they really pack a punch. or atleast drain the opponents systems enough they're useful.

Another ugly alien sci carrier? Where are the others? There hasn't been a alien sci carrier since the Kar'fi...and that was what 3-4 years ago.
Not to say I hate the new model but is anyone slightly disappointed like me and a little sad they're not using the current model?
