Tribble is being brought down for maintenance to update it to build ST.46.20141123a.5
General:
Delta Mark boxes now auto-unpack upon receiving them instead of being placed into the inventory.
Level 45 Captains are able to equip crafted Mark 12 items and items upgraded to Mark 12.
Embassy Romulan Bridge Officers can now have their uniforms customized in the Tailor.
These uniform options will not include faction specific uniforms such as Starfleet uniforms.
This also repairs all Embassy Romulan Bridge Officers which have already been purchased.
Additional improvements to ensure Gold and Ultrarare Duty Officers properly improve Success and Critical Success chances on assignments, relative to their quality level.
The Voyager bridge interior options have been added to the Fleet Long Range Science Vessel Retrofit and the Fleet Long Range Science Vessel Retrofit [T5-U].
Club Wear:
Gorn now have the correct Club Boots.
Club Pants now work for Gorn.
Shiny option now available for Female Club Skirt.
Soft Boots have been removed from Club Wear options.
Known Issues:
Hyper-Dual Refracting Tetryon Beam Banks do not gain their Epic mod upon reaching Epic quality.
The PvE queue Defend Rhlhho Station does not reward 10 Marks when failing in Advanced or Elite mode.

Mr. Coldsnapped, I am just asking about the Doff changes:
Has there been done any changes to Blue and Purple Doffs too? All of a sudden I heavy fail or get low (white, green) rewards in missions I always end in higher reward levels.
example: Engineering Doff missions where I get space or ground gear. I always got blue and purple rewards, since a few days I either get white and green items or an explosion.
and there were at least 2 missions with 0% fail but still failed them.
I even failed the provide ambassadorial tour through the ship...

Embassy Romulan Bridge Officers can now have their uniforms customized in the Tailor.
These uniform options will not include faction specific uniforms such as Starfleet uniforms.
coldsnapped, I'm curious to know what the reasoning is behind the decision to prohibit Embassy BOffs from wearing Starfleet uniforms like the Sierra or Odyssey?
Laws of thermodynamics as applied to life: 0 - You must play the game. 1 - You can't win. 2 - You can't break even. 3 - You can't quit.
So I'm guessing no Romulan Republic uniforms for Embassy boffs...that's still disappointing. I'm glad they're customizable now, but I was really hoping they'd be like the Diplomacy boffs and able to wear their faction's uniforms, at least. That's all I wanted when I bought them for my Federation character.

Hrmm, some clarification would be nifty - but that's not how I read it personally.

This is the exact reason I haven't bought one yet - someone warned me beforehand the Embassy BOffs weren't customizable to their new host faction's uniform standards.
I'm currently using a Starfleet aliengen Romulan as a placeholder, but I would really like some explanation, other than lore-wise, as to why the Embassy BOffs are restricted in this manner? (Potential monetization of buying enemy faction BOff species? Inability for other players to identify the type of another player's BOffs?)

Okay, this is pretty disappointing: Both of my Embassy boffs (the rare male tac and very rare female tac, but I doubt it matters) lost their default appearance without even touching them in the tailor. They can be customized, which is great, but their original appearance cannot be recreated since the unique pieces they used aren't available. They have the same selection as Romulan player characters do when you first create them. The Republic uniforms show in the list of presets, but since the pieces themselves aren't available, you just get the default shirt and pants. I don't have any cross faction uniforms on this character to test with, nor embassy boffs on others, to see if those are available.
I really hope that the boffs' appearance changing before they're customized isn't intentional. I like that we can put them in the nice civilian outfits now, but it should be a choice, rather than being forced to lose their original outfits. And ideally, I want them in Republic uniforms.
-edit-
I don't want to sound unappreciative, being able to customize them is great, especially for players who have bugged ones!
Also, there is only one preset face available for the female boff and none for the male.

So they're changed as soon as you login? Or are they changed automatically when you hit customize, but you can cancel out and they maintain their current appearance?
Heh, I'd done a reinstall of my OS - so my Tribble install is...yeah, I've got no idea why it's going as slow as it is - even having done fresh installs previously; but it's dragging along as slow as can be.
Wait. The Boff tray is still broken, the games a complete mess in both PvP and PvE, the graphics in the delta quadrant are causing enormous lag on most basic PCs, and you guys have been wasting time and effort on.......****ing club outfits? And tailor problems? Stuff that doesn't even matter? Over half the playerbase could care less about this ****, and its what you've been focused on? Wow. Talk about having your priorities totally ****ed up. Really, you all should just quit and move on to something else, preferably something no one really cares about. Make a Babylon 5 game. At least then it doesn't matter if you TRIBBLE it up, but if there's any shred of decency left in any of you, shut this eyesore down until a competent team can be found to do it right.
So instead of fixing the Delta Mark Boxes two weeks ago, now they are fixed and instead we now have no bonus during the Event for Dailies. Afraid that there was a potential that some had stored up to 43 Daily Boxes times 27 Bonus Delat so about 1161 extra Delta Marks?
So stop the Daily Bonus even for Dailies run during the Event. People now say, hey I won't get a Bonus any further by saving the Boxes and cash them all in. Now they self open. Brilliant, you get the hoarders to cash in stored boxes, with that cleaned up, get around to actually making the Boxes self-open like every other Reputation. In doing so, many people just gave up on the Event. Big box payouts - dailies, Tier 5 Reputation, and 250 Mark choice boxes no longer got a bonus. And now Delta patrols give 10 Marks.

I get them for SRO. If they won't customize they don't get to go on Away Teams but they can still do their Bridge Duties.

Well then, it's automatic - right off the back - bam, their appearance is changed as soon as you login.
Access to Rom Civilian, Rom Survivor, Undine Armor, Talaxian Dress...no standard armor/kit stuff to try to match that up. Hrmmm, welll then.
When is the doffs and R&D going to be fixed to what it was pre season 9.5? It used to finish assignments and R&D if you were logged off, now though, we gotta sit there for half hour waiting for the stupid thing to actually complete when logged in. I dont bother with doffing and R&D now because of this. Because i have more than 1 toon. I'd sit there for an entire day just doffing if i did them. Your so called "fix" when the problem was first reported, actually broke it for me. It WAS finishing everything straight away, no waiting and stuffin around, but the first "fix" wrecked it. SO PLEASE, ACTUALLY FIX IT!!!
I believe God created the universe, because he knew we wanted to explore. So, he made us a playground...
I understand there has to be pacing in these games. After all if you just gave us level 60 and all that comes with it what is the point in playing.
On the reverse if you triple the amount of XP needed to gain a level and the primary way to make XP NPCs is increased around 35% that not even what I consider a grind that is a waist of time and flat out not fun.
Nothing is worse then doing something and getting no where. The balance has not been found crunch some more numbers please.
Or you can think of it like this:
If you buy stock and a business does not give you a high enough return on your investment you sell and buy a new stock with better prospects...
Time is the fire in which we burn. We can not make more and it can never be returned.
Make your game worth our time again.

Once you realize that there's nothing particularly involving about the final DR episodes you realize, nothing comes with Level 60.
What I used to do personally, was to grind out a single toon to get the other eight toons' rep sponsor tokens, then I'd move them through the story arcs, grinding for the shiny new reputation equipment I identified would be useful for each, all the while playing PvE team games, foundry, revisiting the occasional old mission, just patrolling around for Borg Red Alerts, hanging out sometimes to chat with people.
The place had a real buzz, and there was a real sense of adventure and achievement. And importantly, by the time I managed to get through all of that... it was the next season and more stuff to do!
Instead, now there's barely any point to doing anything other than Delta patrol grinds over and over and over again. Borg Red Alerts are still borked, skillstray items still disappear, the reputation isn't worth the hassle, and anything non-DR provides barely any reward worth bothering with at all.
Players like me don't need to be told what to do, we're perfectly capable of finding our own fun thank Cryptic very much. Players who get bored easily will still get bored with the grind and will leave. The episode chasers will still come in, grind the episodes quickly and will still leave, so they're not affected at all. That leaves the casuals who come in occasionally to play this or that and then not log in for weeks.
Cryptic didn't just get one thing wrong. In Delta Rising, they got it fractally wrong.
I agree, that's another week to not bother playing
Not to mention the advanced ques are borked plus the spam one button players who make adv and elites fail.
I figured eh if its not completely enjoyable they might do enough before the holidays to make it halfway decent at least. But no lol.... This is the worst state I have ever seen the game in I think they most likely instead of fixing the game they are going out looking for new jobs.
Of all the things wrong since DR I tried to give it a fresh perspective to play it tonight and being that I couldn't really do anything but do an argala grind which I am already sick of I was just like this sucks I'm not going to bother upgrading my ships and gear if there isn't anything I would enjoy doing with that content.

Any word on shiny gloves/boots for males?
New Rom boffs were made customizable, but the existing ones were not fixed by that patch.

Depends - if you always get the 0.5 % chance result, have you tried lockboxes?
(This is not a real suggestion. Lockboxes are bad for you, unless you have money or Dilithium to throw away)
