Delta Quadrant Command

Any character I take to this area to start the episodes will cause the game to crash. Nothing I seem to do works around it. I have updated graphics, force directx 9. I currrently am using a Alienware M17R1 Laptop. It is an older laptop but up till now has played STO fine. Other characters not in this location are accessible.

Has anyone else found had this issue and did you find a fix for it?

    Me too!!! i got around it by luck and it eventualy started me on the dyson sphere without having to watch the video. It also crashes while creating a romulan charecter (video stops responding) and noow with the latest update, ALL videos (accept the normal mission videos where your charecter interacts with things) willl stop responding. Ive tried everything too! even changing ALL the graphics settings, directx, graphics, sound, video card, etc. it always crashes
