[Suggestions] for club wear outfit.

Some [Suggestions]:

Club wear skirt for females only has 'Matte' for material. It would be nice if it had a 'Shiny' material option like the jacket and pants.

It would be nice if we could eventually get more boots for it. I see club wear boots (which are just the combat boots with the club wear colors) and boots soft (which are a straight copy/paste and have the standard color palettes).

I was thinking maybe the 'Padded' boots for club wear. The way the pattern is set up on the boots for the 4 colors would be perfect and these boots are available for both genders. For females the Antares and/or Sierra boots could probably work. I noticed the pants are of the 'Tight' catategory so tall boots would be fully visible.

Edit: Fun fact: DJ Azuza and some other female NPCs are wearing what appears to be the Antares boots, so it shouldn't be too much trouble to made them available for club wear outfits. ;)

I'm not sure if this is a bug or intended but at least on my female liberated borg fed captain, the 'Formal Wear' attire is available with the 'Club Wear'. Though if you have, for example, the lower body set to 'Formal Wear' you only have formal wear and the only thing you can change is to add the formal wear belt and stockings.

Overall I'm really impressed with the club outfit and new dance emote.

I noticed various NPCs have new unique tops and/or skirts/pants. Please make some of them available. I am thankful you're giving the outfit away for free for a limited time and afterwards players can purchase it for gold pressed latinum. I would have gladly payed zen for the club wear though, and I would gladly pay zen to get a costume set that has even more club outfit pieces for both genders. ;)

I'd rather have club wear that was more like formal wear. I think the neon striped jump suits are ugly.

The skirt limited to only matte is a bug. Shiny will be an option soon.

Formal items and soft boots included in clubwear are also bugs that will be fixed soon. They were used in category set up and should have been purged.

As for more options, honestly, what is there now is bonus already. We weren't initially scheduled for any of it, so we only had time to retrofit stuff we already had, using only items that are already free and and hammered out a new club wear category for it.

I'm ecstatic we were able to get a full head to toe set with an eye catching (read: eye blasting) look that fit the likewise eye catching dance floor.

As for preferring the formal attire, gemini - that's cool too. It already exists and you're more than welcome to wear it to Club 47. It meets dress code ;P

What's formal items for you? Because I like mixing formal and clubwear!

Hehe... The usual problem when allowing more combos then intended - someone complains when it gets fixed. This time it's me, so this time it's really, really important. :D

I really hope you guys don't. Many of us like having more options, not less.

The problem with not removing it is it would conflict a bit with the Formal Attire C-Store unlock.

No it wouldn't. The Formal options in Club wear are the ones from the C-Store. And you still have to pay for them to use in whatever category they're in.

    coudn't agree more.

btw. I noticed that you can't wear the outfit out of ESD. at first I thought the costume was bugged and submitted a report on it. now I noticed I can wear it but only in ESD any chance of that changing?
THE NEW CRAFTING SYSTEM IS TERRA-BAD
First of all it's not even a crafting system! It's just a dumb game system that's nothing more than a glorified slots machine.
second the "special items" you hope will be the saving the saving grace are messed up to.

OK. Thanks for confirming the bugs. :)

For the record I wasn't complaining that the combat boots were reused for the club wear outfit. I actually think it looks nice. I was suggesting you guys reuse other already existing assets (such as the padded boots and/or sierra).

For others who didn't notice the patch notes: http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=1302381
The Club Wear outfits can only be worn in the following zones:

    Earth Space Dock
    Drozana Station
    Risa
    Federation and Klingon Fleet Starbases

To be honest I have to echo what others have said. I don't understand why the club wear can't be used outside these places. I can understand the risa swim wear being restricted to that map, but club wear is nowhere near as revealing. Heck if you wanted to you could run around Kobali Prime in formal wear.

So my suggestion: make it so we can wear the club outfit anywhere in the game. It's not much different than off duty or formal wear. The club wear at the GPL vendor could be considered a 'basic' version and it would open the door for you guys to come up with new tops, bottoms, boots, etc. and sell it in the c-store. But with it being restricted to only a few maps we can wear it in I don't think you would sell many in the c-store if you ever came up with something new.

    Another suggestion:

Instead of removing the Formal Wear from the Club Wear category, how about leave it there, rename the pieces to Formal Club, and give it the Club Wear color palettes? The female Formal Wear top looks good with with the Club Wear skirt and pants and the male Formal Wear pants looks good with the Club Wear top using the matte material. The only problem is the Formal Wear doesn't have the Club Wear color palettes.

I would just like to point out that this should be very possible. The reason: Looking around Club 47 I have seen various NPCs wearing a mixture of Formal Wear and Club Wear (at least a couple females wearing the Formal Wear top) and they all have the Club Wear neon colors and all. :)

Joe, if I may say something - the formal wear in the club category in the Foundry is actually slightly different. It doesn't have the under shirt, vest and ties by default, something we *CANNOT HAVE* on the standard Formal Wear. This allows a T-shirt w/ dress coat combo.

Could you put this option in the main game as that is a club style that is not formal.

Who out there agrees that the lady's club wear could use a "secondary version"?
