Well, Klingons without a doubt need some form of festival hall. I am, however, opposed to the idea of a "rave club".

Klingon society is not "uptight". Singing, drinking, telling stories and having a good time is a very important part of Klingon lifestyle. A Klingon festival hall would, however, borrow elements from drinking halls of viking origin, some great examples are the social part of a Klingon fleet starbase or you visit a Klingon bar/feasting hall in the TNG FPS "Klingon Honor Guard" by Microprose (I think?).

Now, there have been questions about the non-klingon races in the Klingon faction. In my opinion this is a design flaw. On Qo'Nos, there should NOT be syndicate-operated rave clubs or anything. Qo'Nos is the Klingon homeworld and Klingon society would not form a homogenous mass like STO portrays it in the first place. The affiliated races should have their very own social zones to begin with, though this is a wish utopian in nature. The two factions (yes, two. Romulans are *not* a faction in STO) are carbon copies of each other, one being blue the other red.

I totally agree with the first part and am looking at how we can create that in the existing map. (I am hoping that artistic changes will not greatly affect code making it more likely to get approval)

As for the second half, I am in total agreement if there were other areas for the other species. Since there is not and we are ahead in the future where a Gorn represents the High Council instead of a true Klingon, I think a rave club could be allowed in the bowels of the bar or in a building in the backstreets of Qo'nos. The KDF is not represented in cannon to begin with so adding something like this doesn't take it too far off from what is in place already. Of course, the Rave Club would still have to follow KDF law, I am against strobe lights and glitter balls, and the music should not be your average club music. I don't want them to make the Fed club on Qo'nos as I agree there has been too much similarity already, I simply want to add some fun and atmoshpere to what we have. And yes, klingons have fun. I don't want to lose the KDF identity, but my Reman and Alien also have a say in my opinions as does my Klingon. Since Klingons would never have that kind of club it seemed like a good idea that the OS could come to some sort of agreement with the KDF to be allowed to run one. As you can see from the pics I posted, it's not fancy, just a dance floor, a stage, and some red glow added.

What about the hunting ground/drinking hall idea? Does anyone have a vision for that? I will try to come up with something.

I know, that's why I said it's just my personal opinion. We won't ever get a "true" representation of the Empire and it's affiliates since Cryptic simply wanted a two faction gameplay and went carbon copy for it, changing that would be a monumental update without much financial gain, so it won't happen. But the more important thing, like you said, is that this "club" would not simply be a copy of the fed dance club but something more unique without, however, tackling too many orc clich

The bar in First City could be modified to serve the purpose. Some small touch-ups on the upper floor and the balcony could turn that into a lounge and balcony observing area - you can watch bat'leth fights in the arena from there. The main area with the bar and bloodwine fountain is ok.
I'm not sure if everyone has noticed, but there's also a lower floor under the Qo'noS bar. And that place just begs for a rave party/rave club. :D
So essentially, the bar in Qo'noS could be turned into a 3-floor club similar to what purpose Club 47 serves on ESD. Too bad it's for the KDF, so chances are well see this happening in about 3 years from now to never. :(

    That sounds awesome! :)

But I fear you might be right. I think they currently have other worrys than KDF not being able to wear neon-pink scuba wear in the first city :/

Sad thing is, you can't get the shuffle dance if you don't have a Fed or a Fed-aligned Rom. As I was only able to grab the freebies in the nick of time and doesn't have any Fed characters, I have to wait until I can afford the account bank and try if it works on a temporary Fed.

You probably already found out by now but if not: You don't need the account bank. If you where able to grab/use these in the nick of time with a fed char it should automatically unlock on all chars on your account. Check the KDF tailor for a new uniform tab called "club".

lol :D Just look at your response at a legitimate and polite question and you'll see who the fool really is around here. Didn't they teach you how to talk?

Bedtime kid, better leave the KDF forums now - there be monsters here. :D

I wasn't trying to be an TRIBBLE. And I wish I was a kid considering my age.
