Extend Mirror Event Due to STO Being Down All Morning and Early Afternoon

Please extend the mirror universe event by a day or two due to STO being down most of today and due to all of the log-in and dropping issues we've had over the last 2-3 weeks. Thanks.

    Yes... I forgot to log in for 4 days, and while I did get the project done on all my characters, I would still like to get the 4 days worth of dil and marks... I think we should get another 4 days for that.

    Then, everyone else who also didn log in to do it every day can make claims too.

    I mean... It's not like they announced the day it was ending BEFORE the event started, and that it has ALWAYS been practice to end the events along with the patches.

    Na... Extend the event... I was lazy for 4 days, so I should get my way.
    Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

    Were lucky they gave us 5 bucks off the new intrepid this weekend only...


    usually when a new ship launches they do a 20% discount on all other ships (which im still betting on) and the new ship goes full ****** price.

    I never said I didn't get the project done on my characters. I said we've had a lot of log-in issues and to top it off, the game is down for us today so we deserve a day or two for that. Thanks for putting words in my mouth...

    Happy to serve... I will make sure I do exactly as you said I did, dispute I did not do it, as often as I can.
    I hope you will be a happy camper that way.

    So basically something that isn't a problem is made into a problem... We are having this discussion every single time and it's exactly as weak an argument this time, as it was the others.

    Argument is invalid... resistance is futile.
    Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

    You're saying I broke the patch server? Oh, this gets better and better. I guess it's my fault that I can't login when so many other people are reporting the same issue.

    Why does it matter that it takes a while to patch? The event was disabled by the patch, no? That's how it usually works.

    Yes... Thats exactly what I said... In fact, I put it up there in detail.

    Really... Just give it up... The event was clearly scheduled, and again: This discussion is just as useless this time, as it was the other times... Not only because it doesn't make sense in the first place, but because there's is precedence for it before.

    And clearly, you don't need the event to be extended either, since you've finished the project.

    Me personally, I've only had one day where I had issues logging in... One day dosen't make a difference...

    I know it wouldn't be a proper event without forum threads begging for an extension because <insert excuse here>...but isn't this a bit late, it already ended. ;)

    You had 3 weeks to do the event, and you only need 2 weeks to get he reward. Stop complaining.

    I started my second character midway and I only have a weeks worth of MDTs. I sure as hell won't ask for an extension.

    The closest I can come in my mind to justifying an extension would be b/c the event wasn't awarding Delta Marks for its first 5-ish days, but even that dog doesn't really hunt.

    In other news, OP has just over 100 days' prep time to set his clocks forward for Daylight Savings Time...

    If it's been said once, it's been said a thousand times: No. There's already established precedent that planned events like this don't get extensions.

    I was a day or so away from completing the event as well.

    I'm not crying about spilt milk. I'm happy that the transporter devices stay in inventory, so I can cash in twice next year! :)

    Thanks for trolling a request that obviously took some serious skin off your back ... , otherwise you would not be so busy ignoring the actual precedence that has been set , such as here , here and here .


    ... too bad Cryptic didn't listen this time as there were several outages at certain time during this event as well ... , but with the current community management , I doubt they even hear us let alone listen ...

    Several? There was one... and only one, and it wasn't even as long and persistent as the ones you mentioned above.

    The rest were ISP related ones, and Cryptic isn't accountable for that.

    Wow ... , I give you 3 examples , you keep insisting there was only one .
    Do you need a breakdown ?

    3rd anniversary event you could get more winter commodities from the various events , to make more coats , boots & stuff .

    Another Mirror event got extended . Guess that was ok then because of ... reasons ... .

    Summer event extended (see winter event for benefits) .


    ... now prove to me please how extending any event personally interferes with your enjoyment of the game ?!

    Common MMO Practice is to extend events if anything interferes with their completion on the scheduled time frame at least things that are beyond the customer's control, ie server outages, bugs, unscheduled down times etc. so when this happens during an event not only is an extension warranted to give everyone a fair shake, it should be mandatory.

    All the Trolls need to go eat somewhere else the OP has a valid concern and request, just because you don't happen to agree with it there is no reason to clutter forum space with unwanted and unneeded trolling.

    I think in the above, Anazonda was referring to the outage during this Mirror Event, not the event extensions that you referenced. To my recollection there was only one outage during this Mirror Event that only lasted a couple of hours, not really making a significant impact on the event itself. Scheduled downtime is not a reason to extend an event as it is factored in to the overall schedule.

    I got it on most, but a couple missed it by hours.
    Delta Rising is the best expansion ever and the players love it! No, seriously! ...Why are you laughing so hard? :(
