I love the new club, I just wanted to thank you personally for a great job!! I don't know the names of the other developers involved in this project but this is for all of you.
New Lunar Republic
"Where monsters rampage, I'm there to take them down! Where treasure glitters, I'm there to claim it! Where an enemy rises to face me, victory will be mine!" -Lina Inverse
I'm very pleased with how the new Club 47 has turned out. It reminds me a lot (in a good way) of Pocket D from City of Heroes/Villains.
In fact, I'm glad Thomas Marrone is observing the spacedock interior holding a drink in his hand.
Brings back fond memories of War Witch's NPC. Now if he can only provide random commentary from time to time... "The Iconians make my teeth itch..."
Molto bene!

ALL HAIL TACOFANGS! Our elected Forum Overlord!
As soon as I can get in... I am going to enjoy your latest work Taco. Patch Server's hampsters must be on strike right now and we're working off reserve mice.

Hey Luna, can you send me a PM. Was just wanting to see how Catstar was doing. Haven't seen him in a bit.

Well, Thomas deserves to proudly observe his new creation docked in spacedock. The Pathfinder is an awesome looking ship.
On another note, do you know/remember that Commander Thomas Marrone was previously stationed on Memory Alpha? Given they closed that place, it was only fair to give the poor guy a new post.

Is he even still there? I've not been back to Memory Alpha, and I have to admit I've remained out of the loop regarding its fate with the R&D changes which I am not particularly happy with.
I did enjoy his NPC there saying how the blue-on-blue LCARS display was an accident but resulted in a minor efficiency output. That always gave me a chuckle.

Memory Alpha is no longer accessible as a ground or space map. Only the location in sector space exists now, after the R&D changes. They mentioned a vague possibility of it being brought back, but your guess as to when is as good as any.
That's why I mentioned that the Thomas Marone NPC needed a new post.

In that case, yes. Yes, he does. Although I do believe he's stationed on the U.S.S. Loma Prieta -- which is currently docked above ESD (the Ambassador-class).

Sad to say Memory Alpha is closed and you are unable to even enter the system!
Story wise I believe that it was destroyed by the Undine but in reality it was superfluous to requirements after the crafting revamp that moved everything to your own DOff's.
I can't remember but I think he map may be available in the Foundry so it may be possible that someone will do a mission featuring it.
Very Nice Job on the new Club, Taco et al! If it were up to me, all of you who made this specific part of ESD would be given a large raise and a huuge "Attaboy!"
You, Taco, are an outstanding example of what a MMO Game Dev really ought to be. Wish your co-workers would get hip to why we like you so much and follow your lead.
Last night in Wal Mart, I swear I saw the EP's pic on the back of a milk carton. Forget hunting for Bin Laden.
Let's give the SEALS a real challenge: tracking down the InvisiDevs.
hmmm...might be an interesting sideline for Cryptic. Giving expert assistance to people in the Witness Protection Program. After all, with all that time at work being underutilized, why not turn a profit on teaching people how to disappear and mean it?
But I digress. Again, Taco, thank you so much for the new club as well as being yourself. Don't ever stop being you.
A six year old boy and his starship. Living the dream.

He's likely just taking some shore leave.
I saw the Commander Marrone NPC at Club 47 yesterday - dance floor area, looking out of window into the shipyard with drink in hand.

I was getting the Pocket D vibe just from the screenshots I was seeing. After viewing it 'in person' today, the feeling was even stronger.
Can't say I'm a clubber, but Club 47 looks darn good and a place I could see myself spending time in.
Set a man on fire and keep him warm for the rest of his life.

my 2ec thoughts
Yes, Club 47 is a great reminder for Pocket D. Man, I still wish we wouldn't have to be reminded though
