    Honestly 5U and 6 are so close anyways. The only differences are 5U gets 11 consoles and 12 boff stations, 6 gets 10 consoles and 13 boff stations plus a trait. Right now its so very very close not sure its worth getting worked up over (other than the Intel ships, but thats a totally different story).

    How many more threads do we need on this subject? And for that matter, why the rush? Intel doesn't make sense for the Galaxy X. And the Phantom currently does most everything the Galaxy X can but better, with the only good thing left on the Gal X is the wide-angle lance when the saucer is separated. Saucer separation will be made useless, if it hasn't already, with the nerf to hangar and separation pets.

    Realistically, I doubt it will happen any time soon. For 3 main reasons:

    1. It's NOT the Enterprise - On this, Odyssey T6 would be more likely.

    2. It's NOT a Hero ship in the current episode chain - Intrepid/Voyager is.

    3. It's NOT a Cryptic original - Cryptic mentioned the possibility of a Guardian X.

    However, I do not doubt one T6 Galaxy will show up, just not in the immediate future when there's nothing to sell it as-is (and that's the other major stumbling block). There's also the likelihood of it appearing when a different specialization shows up that better fits the theme of the Galaxy X.

    At best, if Cryptic ever decides to go down a TNG episode featuring La Forge in command of a Galaxy variant, they'll probably introduce both a T6 Galaxy and a T6 Galaxy X at the same time and sell them both with some new bridges/interiors like they are doing with the Voyager. At least it's more likely than more DS9 content featuring a T6 Defiant; esp. when the Phantom also does its job but better.

    The should work on getting KDF and Romulans more t6 ships so that those players have have access to more than just 2 native ship traits. Having to fork over for lobi ships AND lockbox ships for each character just to fill out ship traits is freaking stupid.

    KDF also needs their dreadnaught, since they don't have one at the moment. Romulans need their flagship. Having a t6 science vessel is also something that both KDF and Roms need.

    Federation players have everything they need at the moment. It's time that the other two factions got a little attention.

    The T6 X will probably be a Guardian X that can use the Galaxy and Venture skins. I just hope it comes with craftable weapon type Lance consoles.
