Cryptic you made T6 intrepid so make a T6 Vesta !

    We've all got our favorite ships and would no doubt like to see them upgraded. Sadly, it won't happen with everything and only time will tell what does and doesn't receive the T6 treatment.

    Yeah. It was logical to expect they'd sell thew new Intrepid bridge (with or without a T6 ship attachted to it) sooner or later; but I deem it highly unlikely they will now suddenly start turning other, older ships into T6 too.

    If Cryptic did decide to release a T6 Vesta (one that unlocked all three T5 skin variants) then they'd have a purchase out of me. I have no interest in fancy consoles, though I do like the Vesta. I am however not spending 5000zen for mere skins, and consoles which I likely wont use.

    I love the Vesta and I would like to see a T6 "FLEET" Vesta in the future.

    As for a T6 "non-fleet" version... I would probably not buy it seeing how I JUST paid money to upgrade my current Vesta to T5-U status.

    Why ?

    1. Because there are so many other canon Ships left to sell ...
    2. Cryptic realized everyone really cares about their own designs, which have nothing to do with the Shows & Fandom, which nobody cares about anyway ... most of us are here for "Tron Online" not "Star Trek" after all ....
    3. Cause Cryptic will stop selling their Nr.1 Cashcow (Ships) altogether ... because they obviously don't want our money ...

    => T6 Vesta Pack for ~15,000 Zen = sooner or later ... maybe not today or tomorrow ... but it's gonna happen ...

    I would rather see a T6 Klingon or Romulan ship next. The intrepid puts the Federation at 6 T6 ships while both the other factions only have 2. Both factions need a new science ship and the Klingons need a cruiser as well.

    I'm rather surprised that people can't wait to buy the same ships again and again. It's no wonder Cryptic pullls those stunts, it obviously works. First they sell you an upgrade and after that the real deal, soon to be upgradable to a fleet version for probably a higher cost than for T5 fleet ships ! I want customers like that ! :D

    I'm pretty sure they're going for the iconic ships first. Imagine a modern T6 version of the Galaxy class with a decent Boff and console configuration.

    Well I can understand the fleet vs non-fleet versions, it's been in the game for a while, kind of a big benefit for being in a fleet that's leveled high enough, but adding a third version, such as a T6 just seems to be a bad idea, like a T6 assault cruiser for example. It's just more of the same. Granted, it's the same story with the Intepid, you've got the mirror version, C-store version, fleet version, and now the T6 version. It's a bit overboard if you ask me. But you're right, it sells. So they will do it. In my honest opinion, I don't want to see a typhoon. Just more of the same with a different skin, FAW spam boat (granted that's what I normally run, so it feels kind of old to me)

    Get into the car business. You will have customers that buy the same car from you every few years, you just need a few minor technical and design changes and it's done. Of course, not everyone - some people drive a car for a decade or longer. But some persons and some companies change yearly or every 2 years!


    ALso, it's not the same ship. It has different stats, and it has a different skin.

    If Cryptic was selling an entirely new Tier 6 Science Vessel with the same stats, would you be bothered?


    They could have advertised it differently, like. "We got a new Tier 6 ship here. And as bonus, it can use parts of the Intrepid and its sister ships!"

    But they know people are really interested in the hero ships, so they focus on that in their advertisement.

    TBH I don't know many people who buy new cars every 2 years & just keep their old ones without selling them ... iPhones ... maybe ... but it's still a "Country-Club" - Thing :P

    And I'm not sure which Cars are supposed to get a new model every 2 years ... might be an US-Thing ... in my country new car models usually appear every ~10 years ... "Volkswagen 1-5" from ~1955 - 2015 i.E.

    T5U Vesta's can hold our own. We don't need a fleet/T6 version.

    I wouldn't complain if they made a T6 Vesta (and I don't even have one). She's a beautiful ship.

    I don't know that many people that buy starships, either. :p

    And there are definitely around - considering when I last looked around for a car a few weeks back, there were cars that were less than 2 years old (and some with a shocking 150,000 km behind them already - it would probably take me 15 more years to double that.) up for sale. I have doubts these people all stopped driving cars.

    Even though CBS won't let them make one. People need to learn that it will never happen. And why would a 200 year old ship ever be up to par with the newest design out of space dock?

    Dude. It's one more console. It won't help you all that much. If you're having trouble making the 5 or 5U working, you probably need to rethink your build.

    You do realize they have different console layouts between the class variants, right? Same applies to every other 3-pack ship class. It's not just a visual difference. And on the Sci Odyssey, it also includes the Sensor Analysis ability like the Tal Shiar Adapted ships.

    It's only logical and expected that if they release a T6 of the Vesta class, it'd be both single and 3 pack. The question though is if they don't just upgrade the packs to T6 and allow existing owners to upgrade their ships to T6, how they will sell both single ships and the 3-pack as a separate T6 purchase? The only thing they could do is give it even more of a buff to its console abilities. And a new bridge or three alone won't cause any to pay a separate bundle cost when they already have the T5 version; maybe all upgraded to T5U.

    Actually it would have 10 consoles same as T5, but have an extra boff power and possibly an intel hybrid intel seat, and a starship mastery trait. Then maybe a fleet version for the +1 console and 10% shields and hull.

    Regardless, if you're hwving trouble with the ship as is now, it's not the point of it not being T6 rather the build of which you are using. It's safe to say that since they have now 3 federation science ships, they are certainly not going to make 3 more Tier 6. If anything, they're going to make the next fed T6 an escort. As it stands, there are 3 science, 2 cruisers and 1 escort fed T6 ships. The romulans and Klingons need more T6 ships if anything. The vesta is probably the lowest on the list for a T6. And let's be honest, the intrepid is the only previous ship that was brought to that level, all others were built from scratch. It's not going to happen.

    Yarp, this needed to happen eons ago

    Personally would love to see the Vesta get a boost to its weapons as well, if we got a t6, why not make it 4 forward and 2 aft weapons, it still maintains the 6 allotment for sci vessels, also an extra hanger bay would be nice, since in the books her entire hull was pretty much a hanger bay (although with the pet nerfing..maybe not)

    I mean since were wishing.


    Also, I sure hope they don't nerf its shield modifier like the t6 intrepid...

    And T6 fleet vesta. That ship deserves T6 and FT6 variant. More money for Cryptic and more skins and joy for me. If Vesta gets the similar look like this pathfinder or guardin cruiser i will be very pleased.

    Maybe, personally I think they are testing the water with the Intrepid T6. I'm sure they would love to resell all our ships back to us as T6, and the thing is people will buy them. A Vesta with intel abilities could be interesting.

    There isn't even a starship trait for them, not even a concept. Why are you wishing for something that doesn't exist, and likely won't for a long time? Yes, I agree, the vesta is a very attractive ship, and the like. What's to say that the Kumari doesn't deserve to be T6 what about the odyssey? Or any other C-Store ship? They can't upgrade any of those without the rest of the store. It's a matter of business and the fact that there are already 3 fed science ships at that tier.

    why vesta? because its the best sci ship out there. And because it sold good enough to be T6 variant of the same ship. I dont mind 3/5/3 variant of T6 and 4/5/3 of FT6. Plus extra boff slot is great:

    so tell me this is not tempting or promising for a T6 Vesta:
