Tribble is being brought down for maintenance to update it to build ST.45.20141019a.18.
General:
Reduced the Skill Point requirement to go from level 0-5 in Starship Mastery by roughly 50%.
No earned Ship Mastery Skill Points will be removed from players ships.
Players who are in the process of leveling up a Starship Mastery level will have the Mastery level of the ship increase to match the roughly 50% decrease in points required.
PvE Queues:
Resolved an issue where players could defeat enemies in the Bug Hunt before the queue began.
This would block completion of the queue.
Khitomer in Stasis Advanced mode can now fail if the objective Destroy the IMRs in: 15:00 is not met.
Resolved an issue with the loadout system where saving tray layouts were not saving all slots correctly.
Traits:
Salvage Specialist functions correctly as a Space Trait.
Also increased the hull percentage threshold from 10% to 25%.
Resolved an issue with "Give Your All" granting the incorrect Trait ability when slotted.
Known Issues:
The Federation, Klingon, and Romulan tutorials award the incorrect type of kits upon completion of the tutorial.
KDF aligned Romulans will see duplicate powers when training Bridge Officers.
One set of the powers are invalid.
The Bio-Neural Gel Pack in the Delta Alliance Reputation system does not apply the correct amount of Subsystem Power Boost.
I really didn't think it took too long to level a ship so I'm surprised it's getting cut in half. Not that I'm complaining I guess, but I'd rather the points required to get a specialization point was cut in half.

*****Need to add 5 fifth rank pin for us Level 60/62 Fleet Admirals also drop off upper Odyssey Jacket to only go with our Fleet outfit. Just the Jacket. Like you have for Vice Admiral free option. VET get that fancy belt buckle, I don't need that. Standard Odyssey Belt Buckle will do or the Excursion one former Tactical can be used. ******

This has been mentioned several times by different players. But I will repeat it once again, in case the developers haven't noticed. The bug affects ships with no loadouts, as well as the ground tray. It is not a loadout-only issue. See the following bug report:
me first drunk !!!! ive been banging the drums on this like foreverrrrrrrrr ty gentlemen = Resolved an issue with "Give Your All" granting the incorrect Trait ability when slotted.
There are several issues there with not only genders but listed abilities as well.
Your new avatar reminds me of a 25th century Snoop Dogg. I am having trouble reading your posts now without hearing "fo shizzle" at the end of every one.
The problem with the Bio-Neural Gel Pack in the Delta Alliance Reputation must be pretty serious if the devs haven't fixed it in several weeks.
That's a painful bug at the moment because the Bio-Neural Gel Pack is pretty much the first cool gear players can grind for in the Delta Alliance Reputation ... and it doesn't work like it should.
Based on the in-game chat that problem with the Bio-Neural Gel Pack is making a lot of players think twice about spending the time needed to grind for the new Delta Alliance Reputation gear.
In the immortal words of Captain Sisko: "It may not be what you believe, but that doesn't make it wrong."
Don't believe the lies in this forum. I am NOT an ARC user. I play STO on Steam or not at all.
We need urgent revision of XP gain.
For advanced, the cure found Bird-of-Preys and the khitomer vortex probles are too hard to destroy.
The loadout is still not repaired.

Nitpicking is a time-honored tradition of science fiction. Asking your readers not to worry about the "little things" is like asking a dog not to sniff at people's crotches. If there's something that appears to violate natural laws, then you can expect someone's going to point it out. That's just the way things are.

It takes a long time if you are not grinding mobs in patrol or something. The mastery only increase with space (obviously) kill xp, which is very low.
Khitomer in Stasis Advanced mode can now fail if the objective Destroy the IMRs in: 15:00 is not met.
You guys relay seem persistent in your new fail criteria seeing to it that your endgame remains inaccessible to many players and to ensure empty queue lists and unused maps.
How about you round up a dev group together in next lunch break and play Infected Manus Advanced? The game experience when groups have met your fail criteria just to realize that the map cannot be completed at all is something you should share.

I think you underestimate how long it takes - if you just want to fly one ship, it doesn't matter probably, but if you want to unlock traits to finalyl switch to the ship you really wanted, it takes pretty long. There are 4 Trait slots to fill!
leveling your specializations may take long, but you can do it on your favourite ship with all your favorite play style.
The Trait system has my Escort Captain sitting in a Cruiser rather than his Phantom... The Eclipse is okay for that purpose, but the Guardian and the Tier 6 Science Vessels will work a let worse for her.
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.

LOOOONG

Infinite possibilities have implications that could not be completely understood if you turned this entire universe into a giant supercomputer.

You guys should really get a copy of the big book. Maybe legal should read up on false advertising. As in:
"MAc support" means, people can play on a mac without booting into windows. Which hasn't been the case since DR was released, and only limited so since season 9.5.

I'm grateful for this change, as somebody who plays a combination of ground and space combat missions, it's nice to know I may actually hit tier 5 eventually.
However, I think the game needs a serious XP increase, or an XP requirement decrease for the upper levels and for specialisation points in general. I started a new toon a week or two ago (whichever day it was when the Talaxian playable race was added), I played through all of the story content on Advanced and I've been playing several STFs, Fleet actions, etc since hitting level 50. Yet I've still hit a level wall during the DR content and can't progress without having to go and grind patrol missions. That seems stupid. It also means we are reduced to grinding for specialisation points, which as somebody else point out, is annoying if you run alts because we'll probably never max out the intel tree before the next grindfest specialisation tree is added.
Join date is wrong, I've actually been around since STO Beta.
True alters don't have a "main". Account wide unlocks for all unique event rewards!!
Khitomer in Stasis Advanced mode can now fail if the objective Destroy the IMRs in: 15:00 is not met.
how about increasing that timer to 30 minutes, so that it's actually beatable by newbies, aka the people who need neural processors that this mission rewards to be able to progress.
keep 15 for elite and their hardcore masochistic minmaxing 90k dps ships/one hit kill tendencies, but let normal gamers play the game too.
the mission isn't that hard, it's just so long, tedious and time consuming that normal, casual people without hyper-optimized/minmaxed gear lose not because lack of skill, but because this artificial timer that makes no in-game sense expires too soon.
Now clowns, that's another story. They scare the crap out of me.
We fight them too. Entire armies spilling out of Volkswagens.
We do our best to fight them off, but they keep sending them in.

Pretty much this specialization system since most every que is broken and filled with people who have no idea what they are doing. That this grindfest limits players to just a specific character so any other characters are left behind just like how non-federation factions are left behind. Their main problem is too much grind (geared to try to get players to replay parts of the game they are sick of due to having to grind till their eyeballs bleed) then the only useful stuff from the system is the ones at the very end of the tree.
The slap in the face though is they know this is a big problem because they designed it this way but then the bigger slap in the face is these make a new character talaxian lol. So what I would say to Cryptic is if I am done with this grindfest TRIBBLE and will most likely never make it to any alts with the way its setup... then why would I bother making a talaxian? ROFL

Whats wrong with it? I have not tried it yet but from what i understand it is an acc buff with slower rate of fire?
