In the boss room, the four virus consoles necessary to lower the force field to destroy the generator that triggers the Manus boss encounter do not activate. After successfully completeing the timed consoles, the force field around the virus console lowers, and the interact "Upload Virus" appears. However after successfully completing the interact, the interact reappears without the progress bar appearing over the console. Shortly afterwards the force field reappears around the console like it would if the interact wasn't completed in time.
Ran an attempt where we tried all four consoles in spite of this, but the force field around the generator still failed to drop.

I've noticed that the devs only respond to bug reports that they can easily fix. Does the lack of response to this issue mean that they've permanently broken this STF?
I'm going to say sorry in advance for giving this a daily "bump" but I can't think of any other way of getting the issue noticed. It's been broken since DR launched and it's not been mentioned in any "known issue" lists in patch notes. Ah well, see you in 24 hours...
This has been bugged since at least Oct 15th. Infected Manus has long been my favorite run in STO due to the challenge. I was very excited about the new Bug Hunt ground run and enjoy it but frankly, Bug Hunt Elite is still easier than old Infected Manus Elite or new Advanced has ever been.
The bug in the mission is in the final room where you need to have 3 team members simultaneously activate consoles to bring down a shield. The center player then "Uploads Virus" which will keep the shield down. There lies the bug. The shield will not stay lowered. In other teams we have tried this in different orders, making sure all 5 team members were on the platform, etc. We have spent until the timer expires trying different methods all to no avail.

I miss the challenge and teamwork that IGE(A) presents and with it gone for a month my frequency of team PvE gameplay has decreased significantly. I would come on daily looking for a team to do a nice challenging ground tour but without Infected Ground it has become boring...

This is NOT correct. I went in 2 days ago (Nov 15th) to a Normal run for testing and it worked fine. I just now tried it again to verify. The bug is ONLY on Advanced. Normal works great.

for advance, cap a corner in the boss room and it mysteriously comes back up.
for normal, the boss room of the stf is able to be completed 'normally', although it looks like the difficulty of the pre-boss room mission was increased.
separate but related topic. for infect ground boss room, in both normal and advance ige, one change was making both the yellow bridges (normal) not as bright a color as before and the 'need - to - complete' yellow console color (both normal and advance) not as bright as before. perhaps this particular change indicates a greater plan that I am not aware of , but might also indicate the person making the change might be unfamiliar with the stf and might demonstrate poor instincts in this case. lack of necessary time perhaps. as, diminishing the brightness of the color makes it hard for the team to see the bridges on normal and whether a console has been completed on both. assuming this particular change was not desirable : I say it is great that developers have the leeway to make such changes , but that developers MUST have the immediate and continuing leeway to make further changes as needed.
unfortunately or fortunately , also we do need to know what changes were made when where to not go crazy too. how do we find out ?

4) Shield around transformer drops, but only for 3 "seconds" instead of 3 "minutes" like before.
5) Inability to keep down all 4 shields leaves in the room leaves no way to end the mission.

None of them are broken. City Hard can be completed if you activate the console, and then wait for it to refresh. If you have some patience, it works.
They are broken and you've just confirmed it yourself... to check if city hard is broken, bugged or glitched, just check for the regeneration chambers nearby, there has to be a number of drones... i think at least 3 at each side in order to trigger the mission correctly. That gorn mission auto completes randomly and you can get stuck in power plant hard when you kill the elite within its first attack cycle... or sometimes, you can't even start the mission at all because the console is dead. Not sure about temple, but i remember there was also some stuff not working every now and then, don't quote me on this.

I've run CGA as recently as yesterday and have never had this problem.
IGA needs to be fixed ASAP though. Best queuable event in the game, and its busted without acknowledgment.
How about we hold off on dance clubs and party costumes and fix the broken content.

We will be bringing down this ADV queue for repairs. The fix should be in place in next week's patch.
